The Miami Hurricanes coaching staff is on the lookout for new talent for the 2026 class and has reached out to four-star small forward Herly Brutus.
Miami hasn't offered him a scholarship yet, but it's something I would keep an eye on in the near future. Many schools, including Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Dayton, LSU, and Maryland, have all extended offers to this four-star prospect in the past couple of weeks.
Brutus is a 6-foot-5 guard who attends The Villages Charter School in Florida, located northeast of Orlando. As a junior, he averaged 10.5 points and 6.8 rebounds.
Brutus just played with his AAU squad, Tre Mann Elite. In one game, he averaged 18.6 points per game, shooting 51% from the field and nearly 46% from beyond the arc in the AAU circuit.
According to 247Sports, Brutus is currently ranked as the 66th prospect in his class, the 24th small forward, and the 14th prospect in Florida.
