This one is cheekier than an *** frog's tights.

Only thing Auburn selling is guaranteed start. We've got a crowded backfield, otoh.

My 100% unimpeachable sauces are telling me that this recruitment is coming down to Miami, Auburn, and a mystery team to be named later, with MJC expected to make a decision sometime before his announced commitment date of 4/25, unless something unexpected happens and he sets a new date. Expect whichever schools to keep recruiting him until signing day, unless they pivot to other targets, such as Ty Keys, or Lorenzo Lingard. Auburn's strategy of handing commits giant wads of cash, is said to have been very effective in capturing MSJ's attention. Word on the street says this recruitment is closer than Jim McElwain was to that shark. Miami like I here.

Not following this narrative. You have to look at a backfield from a traits perspective as a potential prospect and I sure hope the staff is regurgitating this also:

Fletcher (gone)
Marty brown (bruiser)
Pringle (dynamic but tiny)
Lyle (benched last year)
Mallory (bruiser)
CWH (doesn’t play)

MJC possesses a skill set/traits none of the above have. He should look at this depth chart and be salivating.

I would call this room wide open if I was MJC’s agent/camp

He’s from a town called Decatur, Illinois and that is where he is holding his commitment ceremony. It’s about 2 hours from East St Louis. That part of the state very agricultural with a lot of farming communities.

Auburn it is. Auburn is all about the farm life.

You and I know this but I don't think the kids think that deeply about it - all they see is numbers for the most part. As far as MJC, maybe Auburn is convincing him that Miami retains RBs and that's no different next year and it will be a couple years before he sees the field.

Auburn just gave a particular commit of ours a brand new Mercedes AMG... I been tried to explain to y'all auburn plays a dirty game and they try every stunt possible. Doesn't mean it'll work. But like I told this particular commit do you while the time allows. Just make sure to dot your I and cross ur tees.

Auburn has always been that way going back to early 2000’s. I had multiple friends get recruited by them. 10K handouts from boosters connected to the bball team and this is back in 1999. They got money to throw when desperate. They always back their new coaches until they start to fail.

It’s a nice college town if you are into that type of scenery. Not every kid wants to be in Miami or a big city.

Best to just write in all caps then

Going back to the 90s when they first started going after Broward/Dillard kids.

I remember asking Shadow's board back when Carlton Davis was committed to them in 2014/2015 why we weren't even trying to recruit the kid, and being told he was signed, sealed and delivered to Auburn. To your point, when they wanted a kid, they would bag him up and lock him down.

I feel like Mario knows how to handle these situations in the age of NIL.
