Miami moves up in latest College Football Playoff rankings

The Miami Hurricanes are now sitting at No. 13 in the latest College Football Playoff rankings.

Miami moved up from last weekend ranking at No. 15 to the No. 13 spot on Tuesday, pushing the Hurricanes closer to its first-ever appearance in the College Football Playoff after beating upon the NC State Wolfpack 41–7 this past Saturday.

Miami is the highest-ranked ACC squad, with Georgia Tech at No. 16 and Virginia at No. 19, giving the conference three teams in the CFP rankings.

Here are the latest CFP Top 25 rankings:

BYU: 9-1
Utah: 8-2
Only reason they are keeping us below BYU and Utah is to justify having ND above us. We aren't in their tier so head to head doesn't matter right now lol

Guy actually went on national tv and said ND has better losses than Miami and didn't mention that Miami is one of ND's losses. This a complete joke.
 
We heard what we needed to hear, and respect for the new chair head. He didn't give us all we wanted or deserve, but he left the door open and encouragingly said we will be compared to ND if we finish the job. Now, go out and pound Va tech like our lives depend on it and then we worry about Pitt next week. Preview, next week won't sound a lot different.

Yes - I wish the interviewer had the balls to say, “Wait- wasn’t one of those losses to Miami? Do you realize how idiotic you sound right now?”
