Another day, another prospect has trimmed his list of choices in the 2026 class.
Four-star power forward Latrell Allmond out of Richmond, Virginia, has trimmed his top choices of colleges to nine schools, with the Hurricanes included.
Joe Tipton of On3 reported that the 6-foot-9 prospect has narrowed his list to Miami, Arizona, Kansas, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Tennessee, Maryland, Indiana, and Virginia. Based on just my information, I’d say Oklahoma State might be the current favorite.
The 6-foot-9 forward is currently ranked No. 41 overall, the No. 6 power forward, and the No. 2 player in Virginia in the 247Sports 2026 Composite rankings. He holds offers from 21 schools.
Allmond recently played in the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where he scored 23 points in the Top 100 game. According to MaxPreps, he averaged 21.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.3 blocks, 1.7 steals, and 1.4 assists per game last season as a junior.
As of now, Miami does not have a commitment in its 2026 class but continues to target top prospects, including highly-regarded guard Caleb Gaskins and other elite talents.
