Miami football and coach Mario Cristobal just received some big news. Four-star safety Tamarion Watkins from Rock Hill, South Carolina, has narrowed down his list of schools to just four, and the Hurricanes are one of them.
Watkins is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound safety who trimmed his list to just four on Tuesday afternoon as he narrowed down to just Miami, South Carolina, Georgia, and Texas A&M.
As reported by 247Sports, Watkins is ranked as the 24th-best safety prospect and the 5th-best prospect in South Carolina.
This past season at Northwestern High in South Carolina, he wrapped up his junior year with 75 tackles, 8 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 3 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery over 14 games. He also managed to block a punt.
