Jai Lucas is back in the portal, and this time he’s landed one of the best shooters in the country.
On Sunday afternoon, Miami’s coaching staff was notified that 6-foot-8 Robert Morris forward DeSean Goode is transferring to Miami after a breakout season this past year.
Goode averaged 15.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in 30.9 minutes per game while shooting 57.1 percent from three. He’s ranked No. 70 overall and the No. 18 power forward in the 247Sports Transfer Rankings this offseason.
Goode just wrapped up a visit to Miami yesterday, and the Hurricanes did enough to secure his commitment. He was also the Horizon League Player of the Year.
