It's because the players don't lose millions of dollars when they make these moves. They don't suffer at all. They just get the program they're leaving behind on probation. They themselves still get drafted in the NFL.
You know how much money Reggie Bush lost from signing with agents? You know what his punishment was? Absolutely nothing that's what.
And you know what punishment Dennis Erickson's Pell Grant cheaters got? Heck you know what punishment Erickson himself got when he left for the NFL with them? Absolutely nothing, that's what. Erickson didn't even have a punishment that followed him when he returned to CFB at Oregon State and Arizona State. Even though the NCAA had the power to do that against Erickson if they wanted.

If AQM is suspended then those 3 cupcakes to start the season look good.
At this point he either gets nothing or he is just gone all together. If he is guilty then he needs to go.
2 years ago on here I posted that AMQ was on his instragram flashing all kinds of ****. If someone like me saw it and raised an eyebrow, how the **** does UM not have people telling him to not be a dumbass? Maybe they do and he just didn't give a crap? Whatever. Yes. If we don't get Young off the team for good then we'll have 10 years of probation while he won't suffer a thing.
By the way if he took this money before last season we can still be punished for his actions even if the coaching staff didn't know about it. Golden's already pathetic .541 win % might sink even lower.
