Miami will host its final home game of the regular season this weekend, facing off against NC State at 3:30 p.m. this Saturday. On the recruiting side, this will be the Hurricanes’ last opportunity of the year to host prospects for a home game — with a long list of visitors expected.

The ’Canes will host nearly half of their 2026 commits this weekend, with 13 prospects in attendance.

Miami’s 2026 commits in attendance include: OL Joel Ervin, OL Canon Pickett, WR Somourian Wingo, WR Milan Parris, DE DeAnthony Lafayette, DL Asharri Charles, DL Tyson Bacon, DL Keshawn Stancil, DL Frederic Sainteus, LB JJ Edwards, LB Jordan Campbell, DB Jaelen Waters and DB JJ Dunnigan.

Only one non-Miami commit will make the trip to South Florida this weekend in the form of four-star Colorado commit Gavin Mueller.

Miami has been pushing hard for a second tight end commit in the class to join Israel Briggs, and with Luke Brewer committing to Iowa last night, expect the ’Canes to close hard on Mueller this weekend.

UM will also host an impressive list of 2027 recruits headlined by two ’Cane commits in the form of WR Ah’Mari Stevens and S Jaylyn Jones, joined by two top-ten Florida prospects with DB Amare Nugent and WR Jamarin Simmons.

QB Charlie Foulke IV, RB Arwin Jackson and WR Anthony Jennings are also slated to be in attendance.

On the defensive side for the ’27 class Miami will host DL Javion Herrington, LB Debonaire Johnson, DB Sherrod Gourdine, DB Jemari Foreman, DB Julian Elzey and DB Angelo Smith.

The 2028 prospects are headlined by five-star ATH Aden Johnson, joined by OL Deuce Sualevai, DL Tysir Young, DL Meshi Dobson and ATH Zakari Johnson.

And lastly 2029 attendees include Chaminade QB Malik Leonard, DL Jaelin Coach and ATH Jeffery Oneal.

I listened to 1988 “ Don’t be cruel “Bobby Brown more than anyone as a kid . The only competition is NWA and the Getto Boys.
I wasn't referring to the musical acumen. Don't Be Cruel was a fuggin jam as were several other awesome tunes on that album (remember those? Before mp3's?). So Whitney's Bobby Brown was the better musical performer, no doubt. However, Bobbie Brown of Cherry Pie fame was my type, meaning blonde with healthy lungs.

I used to get ****ED when the radio would play Don't be cruel w/o the rap break down

Never should've been an option

And if I raised a glass you wouldn't even toast...
