As expected, especially by the media, the Hurricanes are projected as the No. 2 seed in the ACC heading into the 2025–26 season.
That projection puts Miami in position to make its first appearance in the ACC Championship Game since 2017.
Clemson topped the preseason poll with 3,083 points, followed by Miami (2,679) and SMU (2,612). Georgia Tech (2,397) was picked fourth, while Louisville (2,370) rounded out the top five.
