I do not understand a school forcing a kid to stay and play. Sounds like he needs to have an “injury” and collect NIL money. I hate Duke

It's reported the judge ruled today to move the hearing up to Thursday, the 29th. I don't understand the reluctance to hear it today considering enrollment deadlines.
Football players don’t need to enroll or go to class. They just need to play well. The student athlete fiction has been dropped.

Probably not until next weekend when Mensah case resolved.
Will he wait that long? I mean if mensah case somehow unexpectedly goes bad for Mensah, and barkate waits - then what does he do - all enrollment deadlines have passed

I’m sure we’d accept him anyways but not sure there’s any sense or leverage in him waiting

I actually watched Indiana celebrate and was in some bizarre way happy for them. It ****ed me up really. I’m certainly not getting more mature or growing up. They showed big balls in that game and made the plays when they needed to. Sure we can blame O’Connor and Bauman and Beck, but that’s not how I felt personally

This playoff run was my favorite sports memory even though we didn’t close the deal
Was just a good game. I’m not sure I can watch it again knowing the result but what a game and the whole playoff run was just awesome. Watching Fletcher score the long TD was magical I knew we were in for a heavyweight fight and we weren’t letting anybody just run over us.

Would he still come here tho without mensah?

let’s say he enrolls and violates order…can he be held in contempt? What is the punishment?
I’ve raised this a number of times. I’m told it’s not likely to happen but yes, he’s then in contempt. To try to enforce it, Duke would have to file a petition in Dade I believe.
