Before the Section Monday Show, the Field of 64 projections were released, and the Hurricanes fell to a No. 3 seed after losing to California in the first round of the ACC Baseball Tournament.

The last time we looked at the Field of 64 projections, Miami was one of the hottest teams in the country and was as high as a 2 seed in their projections.

Miami is currently the No. 3 seed in the Knoxville regional, according to D1Baseball. The regional also includes No. 1 seed Tennessee, No. 2 seed West Virginia, and No. 4 seed Miami (OH).

Baseball America reports that Miami is a three seed in the Nashville regional, with Vanderbilt as the No. 1 seed, followed by No. 2 seed UTSA and No. 4 seed Eastern Illinois.

That’s what happens when you shlt the bed to end the season. Of Course, I think that win streak was all smoking mirrors anyways, but whatever.
