Staff needs to answer the accusation of not being believable. We had the BKW crap with Kirkland and Thomas and now this. What that says to me is that rival staffs have been preped to plant that seed. There is no way this PB county kid came up with those statements on their own. Coach Golden ought to call him on the phone and meet this head on. This thing can get wheels if he doesn't. If anything Miami is being too honest. Other schools tell him what he wants to hear and then play him where they want anyway. Coach, Tell him that they ought to part ways because we are definitely recruiting him as a DB. Sounds like he's gone anyway. By the way did it ever occur to anyone that Thomas, Collins, Keef and now this kid might be choosing to get out of Dodge to get away from Mama's and Girlfriends that we always think are helping us keep the home?

cant comment on kids until they sign. no way to defend ourselves.

steve walsh is his coach...we wont be left holding our di*k...BUT..kid was looking for an excuse for an out...He and his boi Dixon both are UF bound...i have no clue why we actually think we had a chance with Dixon...kid is all uf....

I'm glad s.fla is loaded with wrt's even though Rudolph has the goods.....i easily replace him with Holmes @ St Thomas....

Dont think Dixon is going to UF and its highly unlikely Florida would take both Rudolph and Dixon.
Where you think Dixon is going, dwyers like a UF school and he's like best friends with Rudolph who seems to be going there

Send this little facking **** packing and all you guys sticking up for him can join him in gainesville.

I think if the kid is telling the truth he has every right to say these things. But who knows what really happened because it seems like he was looking for a reason to leave. Hopefully it all gets worked out and hopefully you guys will one day quit bashing recruits. Sometimes these guys are telling the truth. We don't know for sure so no reason to bash recruits letting other recruits see this as well, just let the kid move on.

This is why we need to stop worrying about JUNIOR recruits its still 11 months until NSD and he's already driving everybody crazy. Now the kid is a talent no doubt but can be replaced, the staff will continue to recruit him but other guys also like they have the whole time and cover their bases so we will see what happens but they wont just drop him and they wont whine about this but i will say this his attitude has to change

Holy **** dude sounds like a huge douche.

Just decommit and get it over with kid.

This, time to move on and committ to Florida. Plenty of other options still on the board.

The staff wont just "move on" to me thats a bad look to recruits. I remember last year UF lost like 5 guys in a span of 2 weeks because they didnt want commits to take any visits and then they changed their tone, this is the same example if the staff just lets him go some recruits may not like it but if we get other wr commits then this dude becomes expendable

Golden should invite him to another camp and make sure the assistant handing out name tags casually gives Rudolph one that says "****** CB"

They were recruiting me as a DB and I don’t wanna play DB at the next level, I want to play receiver. They were all being inconsistent with me because Coach Franklin was telling me ‘you’re the next Andre Johnson,’ but the head guy, Coach Golden, was telling me he wanted me at cornerback alongside Tracy Howard and Deon Bush and all of them. So I said ‘Wow, that’s some inconsistency right there’ and that’s why I felt like I couldn’t trust them and was iffy about it.”

Did he notice any differences between the junior days at Miami and at Florida?

“It’s just the little details like when I went to Miami’s junior day and they give you these name tags that identify you and below your name it has your position. They didn’t have ‘athlete’ for me, just strictly cornerback so that right there ****ed me off because they were telling me receiver and then they had cornerback on there. So it’s little details that are red flags for me.”

I think alot of our fans are simply being emotional about this situation.... The guy is paying attention to his own recruitment, so why get mad because he wants to play Receiver??

I think this kid can play receiver, but I also think we won't miss him if he doesn't come. I haven't seen much of this guy on defense, so maybe he could develop there, or maybe not? IMO, he's a project on the defensive side of the ball.

We have talent in the Secondary, and talent at the WR position... He isn't a given to start at any position, so why not let the guy play the position he prefers, because if not, his development will be an up hill battle from the start.

Kid has some talent at receiver, so in my eyes, I don't see this guy making ignorant statements here.

My concern is Uncle Jethro attempting to recruit a skilled position player. Shouldn't he stick to the DL & LB's? If I was this kid, it would seem like a dead givaway to me.

In saying all of that... Maybe this is another Travis Johnson situation. Ermon Lane, Artavis Scott, JoJo Robinson, and others are more talented at WR than Rudolph imo, so maybe the slight is to unction this guy decommit on purpose; in preparation of an upgrade!

I understand why he's upset but i also dont think he should be so angry and vocal to me this is a situation that you talk privately to the staff and see what the issue is and what they want to see from him to prove what he can do at wr. Now with Jethro i dont agree that its a dead giveaway just like when Barrow recruited Denver, T.Rich was recruiting Stacy, Coley recruiting Matt Thomas, Denver and Yearby, those are all situations where they recruited positions they dont coach its about relationships you build now if Jethro built a good relationship and got him to commit early i dont think that should be a negative on him just like if Coley got us a big recruit at any position other then qb.

I clicked on this thread to see if recruits had suddenly become more down to earth and realistic. They haven't. He can take that name tag and shove it. "It's the little details..." says the high school Junior to one of the nations top programs busy dealing with **** bigger than his stupid position.

If they were recruiting him as a DB, then doesn't that mean he committed expecting to be a DB? At what point did he make it clear to the Miami staff that he only wanted to play WR? If it was after that junior day, STFU, if it was before, did he talk to the staff about it at that junior day when he saw CB on his name tag? If he had already made it clear to the staff that he only wanted to play WR, then why is he upset that his name tag didn't say athlete? Shouldn't he have expected WR? "That's some inconsistency right there."

muschamp is playing the game.. he tells him receiver..and then switches him to CB once he's signed up..

Decommit please, and thank you.

Commit where you are comfortable young man.
