They only gave up 13 to LSU. LSU returned a pick for a TD.

Holding a team to 13 points on their home field when you turn the ball over 4 times (I'll say 4 times your defense had to come out on the field after a turnover, I already mentioned the 5th pick was a pick-six) is impressive.

But LSU did get 6 yards a play, after not even getting 5 the week before against Louisiana Tech. That offense just isn't good right now, and Kelly said today that Nuss is hurt.

So I'm with you, they're not world beaters, but I think their defense is at least legit while that offense is a ******* tragedy.
They had 22 First downs to like 10 for LSU (think cant remember)
They have had hella penalties against USF and LSU. Including one that brought back a 90 yard TD against LSU, who knows how that could have impacted the rest of the game.

UFs offense is entirely about Lagway making big plays. So far this season they haven't been able to get out of their own way and he's made major mistakes. However their defense has played well so far this year.

The thing is 99/100 times we may beat them. We absolutely are the better team. But with them losing twice including to an opponent we just killed and are at home. This is a major CFB you can overlook them situation. And if they have any self-respect they'll give max effort in a rivalry game and as revenge for what we did to them at their house last year.

They obviously CAN win against us. The ONLY thing stopping us from winning imo will be ourselves. It is a good thing though that we have a bye after. There really should no be excuses to looking ahead to FSU when we have a bye between these games. But this is 100% about mentally making crystal clear that just cause we wooped USF who they lost to doesn't mean they're incapable of beating us... We still gotta get better and execute.

Miami can’t take them lightly, their defense is still pretty good the DT getting hurt is a huge hit for them though. I get Lagway has the yips but we still need to be on our A game.
No doubt. I hope our team isn't thinking we're going to get 5 picks because LSU did.

We got lucky with USF beating Florida, as it woke us up to who USF is. I hope it doesn't have the opposite effect with UF, since we slaughtered the team that beat them.

Dude Mario will not let these guys overlook UF or FSU. He understands the stakes in the season and recruiting. Beck was at UGA so also has a natural hatred of UF. Let's also not forget Bain got hurt on the first series vs UF last year, so he'll want a piece of them. That's your head coach, offensive leader, and defensive leader all who will be laser focused; the rest will follow suit. I have zero concern of us overlooking them. Mario will want to run up the score as he did last year.

I think Nuss really is hurt. Kelly said it, and he's a murderer, so I don't believe **** he says. But their offense has been pretty limited for 3 games now. 69th in EPA/play on offense. In the 80s in yards per play. Look at this offensive profile. This is repulsive.

So I'm really interested to see how we look on offense against them. I think Banks out is huge too, obviously. But I'm leaning towards it's probably a combination of UiF being pretty good on defense and LSU sucking *** right now. Look at that running game. 133rd in success rate when running the ball?!

If Lagway gives us 2 or 3 turnovers, we are going to cash them in one way or another unlike LSU. This offense is going to break them. Just watch.

We definitely can't sleep walk against UF or it will bite us in the ***. The UF defense is absolutely no joke and if it wasn't for DJ throwing 5ints, they very likely beat a #3 LSU team

Another way to put it is that the "#3 team in the country" barely escaped UF and Clemson, two of the country's biggest disappointments.
which leads you to realize they are not and never were really the #3 team in the country.....

I think the Nuss stuff is just an excuse. He knows the offense stinks. He knows that EVERYONE knows the offense stinks. It takes the heat off Nussmeier right now

I have zero concerns about this team not bringing their A game for the gates. They were dialed in for USF, so you **** well know they will be more than ready to pounce on UF.

Nothing about their team worries me other than the fact that they are a desperate team that would love nothing better than to ruin our CFP hopes and dreams.

Their O is **** - Lagway had better get that ball out quickly for his own health and well-being. And he’s not the athlete who will beat us with his legs. Their D is scrappy, but we will wear them down.

We will destroy these guys and I expect nothing less.

This season feels epic. We beat Notre Dame, and now have the chance to beat both UF and FSU on our way to the ACC championship and the playoffs. We have to settle one more score- Ohio State. I think we’ll get our chance. We make that run to the title and I would probably just stop watching football after celebrating #6. It would be impossible for there to be a better season than that.

Can’t have any of those BS 3 and outs. Feel like we either score or go three and out on offense. Control the possession. Drain them up front, they’re a wounded animal right now. Keep pressing and they’ll quit.

most important thing is to NOT HAVE TURNOVERS

limit mental mistakes

run Fletcher and Lyle just as we have been doing the past three weeks

Beck needs to be more careful with his passes

get Moore and Toney involved early!
I’d love to see our TE get the **** ball as well

The Florida Gators come onto the road in Miami Gardens next weekend to play the 3-0 Miami Hurricanes, and Vegas likes the Canes.

Mario Cristobal's squad is an 8.5-point favorite, while the over/under is 51.5. This season, Miami is 2-1 ATS in their 3-0 campaign, with the Canes failing to cover against Bethune-Cookman.

On the other side, Florida is 1-2 ATS this season. They failed to cover against LSU and USF. ESPN’s Football Power Index gives Miami a 75.2 percent chance to beat the Gators.

Miami faced the Florida Gators last season, as the Hurricanes covered the spread last season.

Whoever you pick, bet responsibly.
Miami 38-17.
