Jai Lucas and the Miami Hurricanes basketball staff were in attendance this past weekend at the live session of many AAU basketball circuits. The Hurricanes are looking to add to their next class, as they extended an offer out to 2027 four-star center Lewis Uvwo.

Lewis is currently viewed as the nation's No. 19 best player in the 2027 recruiting class. The Fort Lauderdale, Florida, prospect is also ranked as the No. 6 player out of Florida.

This past weekend, the 6-foot-10, 225-pounder played for the Florida based AAU team Nightrydas, where he is emerging as a top rising prospect in the 2027 recruiting class. He had a great weekend, averaging 9.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 6.1 blocks, and 1.4 steals across three games. He helped Nightrydas finish 2-1, beating teams like LivOn and Jet Academy. Due to playing so well, he has picked up over 14 total offers from this past weekend, including Miami, Kentucky, Kansas, Providence, Michigan, USC, Arkansas, Seton Hall, Cincinnati, Syracuse, Ole Miss, Florida, Alabama, and Texas A&M.

Lewis is another guy to add to the Miami Hurricanes recruiting board. The coaching staff showed interest in many top recruits during this past weekend's live sessions. Keep it locked on the site for more, and check out his film below.
