Miami basketball and coach Jai Lucas have extended an offer to five-star forward Marcus Spears Jr, out of the 2027 class.
Spears announced the Miami offer on Instagram stating: “I am blessed to be offered by Coach Lucas and his from the University of Miami!”
This summer, he averaged 12.2 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks while shooting 49.4 percent from the field for his Drive Nation team on Nike’s E15 Circuit.
Aiden is a 6-foot-6, 180-pound forward that is from Dallas, Texas, and is rated as a five-star prospect, which is the No. 4 player in the class of 2026, and the No. 2 power forward, while also being the No. 2 player in the state of Texas.
Marcus has received offers from schools such as Miami, Texas A&M, Memphis, Texas, Oklahoma State, Stanford, and many others.
Spears is currently playing for the USA Basketball U16 National Team at the AmeriCup in Mexico. He just scored 15 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in a big 123-50 win against Mexico.
