So Miami is considering going to Atlanta? Come here, play us, and go to Atlanta after the game.

If Miami was playing at ULM or somewhere like that, they'd go. We are not a gauranteed win."

uhhhhhhhh yeah you are

I think it's understandable that they're upset. This was going to be the biggest home game in the history of their program. They've been looking forward to this for years.

****, one dude on this board signed up in 2014 just in anticipation for this game.

I don't like us ducking games either.

Just an interested observer from a B1G school and it is pretty disappointing seeing a couple of the comments in this thread and the hundreds on Twitter.

What's disappointing is their cowardly AD cancelling a road game and forcing the team to stay home in a category 5 hurricane. Every other team from Florida is playing their road game, so why did they cancel?"

they bring up some good points though, I don't get this decision

These guys are going to spend all week worried about their mamas and their brothers and their sisters and cousins and buddies.... they'll be thinking about everything except for football.

Maybe that goes for the coaches as well, to an extent.

Would have been better to get everyone out of town away from the chaos.
You did not mention anything about worrying about their father. Is that an oversight by you?

I agree. We beat the **** out of them with Golden as our coach. What do they think we'd do with Richt?

They should be happy we cancelled this game. Look at what all that trash talk got App St.

You don't get it because it's not your parents and kids you're leaving behind to go play a game

So instead of helping your family gear up for a potentially catastrophic category 5 hurricane, you would rather leave them to fend for themselves to play a meaningless game in Arkansas? Can't make this stuff up man you guys are clueless

What the **** kind of stupid *** question is that? Are you "on the spectrum" or wtf?

Yes, Henreysalmons, I'm sure they're worried about their fathers too. And their uncles, and their aunts, and their girlfriends, and nieces and nephews and anyone else I forgot.

And wives, and kids, and dogs, and gerbels, and.... what else man? Maybe I forgot one.

I want them to beat FSU and not be distracted all week when they need to be focused and practicing.

I guarantee you not one family member of any player will be hurt by Irma. People like you just love to be dramatic and sappy.

We signed up to play LSU in 2018. UF in Orlando (2019). And we just signed up to play Bama in 2021.

Yeah, apparently we're scared to play Ark. St.

Dammit! I'm livid and understanding at the same time .

You're either an imbecile or completely clueless to what a category 5 hurricane means in terms of devastation. The governor issued a state of emergency but the FSU game is much more important than the safety of families to you?

This has more to do with the Administration being cheap as usual more then anything..

Don't like this decision. Over reaction by UM administration.

I don't know how anyone can definitively say that no one will be hurt by Hurricane Irma in South Florida.

Strongest hurricane to ever be recorded. This thing's going to do some damage. The only thing that's shocking to me was that this game wasn't called earlier. Fck what Ark. St. thinks. If they want to say we're scared, then have at it.
