Using the 247 composite, our average player rating is a player ranked in the 240s. That in isolation and considering how many Top 100 players we have isn’t awe-inspiring. Let’s compare it to Clemson, though. who is second in the ACC recruiting rankings. Their average player ranks in the low 500s. Massive difference.

If we stay at only 20 or so recruits, wouldn't it hurt us in the rankings?
How does it work? Doesn't volume count?

Go away. Your ****ting on Cam Ward ****ed everyone off here.
Go fvck yourself sport! What I said on Cam is the truth, he never took the check down. If that traumatizes you, grow some thicker skin. 👍

I'm not concerned about these class rankings, esp any concern about where we stand vs TXAM.

They couldn't win it all no matter who they

MJC and Jacobs sound like they aren’t over. Mario always has a surprise flip or 2
Yes he does. But I think it's someone else -- neither of those two would be a surprise. Jacobs in particular, us and a few others are very openly trying to flip him.

Using that metric, how do we compare to the rest of the top ten?

Sport? Lol
Yeah, sport, because where I’m sitting on here is facts, I love Cam, but he never took the check down and that’s the truth. Where you clearly sitting on is being a hater of the truth. So again, I can go on busting you up on this all day sport, if that’s what you wanna do because again, all I'm stating is what’s true. You let me know sport? Lol

Volume counts - added to total class number (see: Shannon’s “#1” ranked class)

The only thing I care about is the average. Clemson would take small classes outside or near top 10, but with a top 3 average. Quality over quantity.

Right now our average tops everyone.

At the four most pivotal positions according to the NFL, (qb, cb, wr, de) wrt crooting in this class....

Miami has arguably the best players in the nation....

Elite cornerstones to build around...

Our recruit average ranking is the highest in the entire country according to 247

Anyone who thinks that isn’t awe inspiring is a dumb ****

I’ve always paid more attention to average recruit ranking than class ranking

You can manipulate ranking based on number of commits

There’s a lot of different services and rankings but however you wanna slice it Miami is currently sitting near or at the top in every metric as far as landing elite players

Agreed. Get most of the ones we want and i don’t give a **** where the “experts” rank them.

I know 247 starts to penalize teams for over signing, I don’t know about rivals and ESPN. That’s why our class last year barely made top 10, even though we signed 31 recruits.

This class & past couple classes have put our roster in a great position to withstand any, and maybe inevitable, portal rule changes.

For the Under 30 crowd, strap in. You are about to experience what it felt like to be a Hurricane in the mid 80’s through early 90’s. While I can’t predict or guarantee the final results, I can guarantee that we will be relevant and in the hunt each year and the national audience will hate us because we are so much better than everyone else.

Gone are the days of losses to FIU or MTSU. We have returned to the place of kicking your aszs, anytime and any place. Notre Dame gonna learn come November.
So happy my kids will finally see a real Cane team. Glad I’ll be alive also. Man we loved last year.
