Four-star cornerback Samari Matthews, who recently returned from a visit to Texas, appears to be focused on four schools, according to his Instagram page.

The four schools Matthews is considering are South Carolina, Miami, Texas, and Florida State.

Samari has already visited Coral Gables on May 30 after deciding to cancel his Clemson visit. He has also toured campuses at Florida State and Texas and plans to visit South Carolina this weekend.

Samari is scheduled to announce his commitment decision on August 10.

The 6-foot, 190-pound cornerback is ranked as the No. 12 cornerback and the No. 119 overall player in the country, according to 247Sports.

Currently, there are Crystal Ball predictions favoring Clemson at 75 percent, with 25 percent favoring the Texas Longhorns.

**** Clemson. I really wanted Samari. I think he's a player in the NFL and a really great college cb

Today the SC gamecocks sports radio station had one of their recruiting coverage guys in a segment. They were talking like he is theirs

He would be sweet, but I think they add Jennings and are done. Things could change. I wish UGA didn't throw the bank at Justice Fitzpatrick. Don't let UGA fans talk smack about NIL spending after what they gave Justice.
