Miami adds 2027 6-foot-6 OT Zaquan Linton

Miami has landed a commitment in the 2027 class from 6-foot-6, 300-pound offensive lineman Zaquan Linton, a three-star prospect.

Christian Proscia of EraPrep on Twitter was the first to report the news of the three-star prospect:

I had a chance to speak with Linton after his commitment to the Hurricanes, and here is what he said:

“Knowing I was gonna play at a legendary staff and great school,” Linton said about the Hurricanes' staff. “Miami has produced some of the best linemen, and that’s where I need to be.”

You are aware he's a 2027 class commit who played as a 10th grader last season correct?! Most kids with 2 yrs left of HS ball are projects. CIS strikes again!

Yes you are right now. Not sure if you will be correct after his SR year when he signs. Obviously, this was a trajectory pick up as the kid is 15 years old. I don’t think Cantwell was on the National stage at 15 either.
