Foolish. Did he not see what happened to Yearby?

@ Peter Ariz, are we going to be blessed with a D$ podcast this week? It's a big game brother!!

Late round 5-7 pick

I have him 3-5 rounds. Workhorse type back with good hands and plays on specials. Has some good attributes, he can block well, good hands, powerful runner, athleticism, and balance. His injury is what teams may be worried about but if he's healthy for the combine and pro day he'll be just fine.

Stayed home to represent for Miami-Dade. Always competed hard. Led from the front on and off the field. Never complained. Showed grace, maturity, and leadership throughout his time here. Proud to call him a fellow Cane.

Now get healthy, have a tremendous Pro Day, and take care of your family Mark!

He knows our OL isn't gonna be appreciably better next year. Still a work in progress = tough sledding for run game.

We'll be good with the talent coming in, and he shouldn't risk further injury at this level. I wish him all the best.

What could’ve been if Mark could have stayed healthy. Appreciate his loyalty and heart, may GOD heal you and allow you to prosper for years in the NFL.

I suspect he's turning down a lot more money not playing another year, although it's totally understandable considering his family situation.

He comes back and shows out for a full season like he did to start the year, and he can easily play himself to 1st round money. Then again, I understand the concern if he gets hurt again.

Wish him well but another year showing his talent would assure he'd be a first rounder, with the injury late rounds or Yearby luck. They do sell insurance in case of injury if he were to remain...hate to see these kids go for the bucks without completing their education...but good luck kid! Missing that diploma may come back to haunt him...

There's no chance he's going to be a first rounder. Don't know where you guys even think stuff like this up. Get your money and rep the U, Mark!

Miami junior running back Mark Walton will forego his senior season and declare for the NFL draft. The story was first reported by Neil Stratton on InsideTheLeague.com and sources confirmed to CanesInSight this afternoon.

Walton’s junior season ended early after suffering an ankle injury against Florida State earlier this season. His decision is not a surprise and was expected even prior to the season by those within the program.

I don’t see him starting over Lingard or cam next year them boys about to change the game
