LIVESTREAM with Canes Baseball players on Thursday: Q & A

From falling to .500 earlier this season, the Hurricanes have bounced back to 27-18 via dominant performances in the ACC. They've gone 10-2 in their last 12 ACC games which include four series wins, with the last two being sweeps over a ranked Georgia Tech team and a scrappy Boston College side.

On Thursday I'm going to be doing a livestream with guys like Brian Walters, Michael Torres, AJ Ciscar, etc. Figured I'd open the floor to y'all for some questions you'd like them to answer. Will be around 11 on Thursday so be sure to tune in and as always pack the Light as they take on a top-15 team in NC State this weekend!

Nice👏

For Walter’s:

You’re doing an outstanding job in the closer role, do you feel more comfortable than when you were starting? Or more a team need and you’d like to go back to starting down the road?

For our CF:

Starting as a true freshman is quite an accomplishment and a vote of confidence by JD. Your defense has been tremendous and it’s seems like you’re more comfortable at the plate as well.
What has been the biggest hitting adjustment
you’ve made since HS, start of the season?

Ciscar & DeRias:

No questions! Just keep doing whatever the F you’re doing, including same underwear if it working😉

Cuvet:

Dude, TY for sticking it out, you already in record books but feel there’s a lot more coming your way at U!

How have you been able to lock in during the last month in ACC play? You basically have the bat skills to hit even bad pitches for knocks, yet you seem more selective recently, driving with authority to all fields; can you attribute that to any specific change or “just in the zone” right now?

Btw, have to ask: did you get the ball back from your Pesky Pole 3 run bomba? Had to be a thrill and your expression showed GENUINE appreciation of the moment! Major Props👏👏👏

What’s their favorite restaurant in Miami

Super impressive turnaround I must say. Arteaga deserves a lot of heat for the start of the year but also deserves credit for some of the rotation changes that have helped lead this turnaround

Especially for Mikey Torres. How has he adjusted from playing on a small field in Doral, to a bigger outfield in college

Tell all of the pitchers to take the summer off and just stay with Soto or work with a place like Tread/BPC.

We need development physically and with pitch design to take another step next year. Not racking up more innings.

Less than 24 hours before the stream, make sure to get y’all’s questions in below 🙌
