Live Thread Updates: Mark Richt 11th-12th grade Upperclassmen Camp

I’ll be arriving on campus close to 10:00 AM. Camp is running around till about 3:00 PM today.

I expect a few commitments today for Miami in the 2019 class and potentially one for 2020.

There will be some top tier 2021 & 2022 prospects competing today with the upperclassmen.

@Stefan Adams & myself will be providing updates all day.

I didn't know that, do you think we would take two QBs or is Max Johnson are only QB for 2020 if he commits?

I think that will ultimately depend on two things.

1. What happens with Michael Johnson Jr. for the 2019 class.

2. A QB ends up transferring out of the program after the season. (I think this very well could happen, not sure who but between Malik graduating and competition. There will be someone not happy with their snaps, this happens everywhere) We would only be carrying 2 QBs at that point, maybe 3 depending if we land MJJr.


I think if there’s a year where we should take 2 QBs, 2020 should be that class.

 

Gathering notes I took and some recruiting nuggets I’ve been saving for last few days I’ve gathered. Had a few other standouts but didn’t have their names when I walked into camp, got them after. Let me just say that there is something in the water in Jacksonville, they have been producing some legitimate prospects at a high rate recently.

I forgot about pierre. I was more dissapointed in wyche than Calvin. They'd been more serviceable under this regime that's for sure.

Michael Wyche was a fat *** on roller skates. He wouldn't have been productive in anything except a pie eating contest.
