Live Thread Updates: Booker T. Washington vs Southridge

We have what appears to be an Alabama staffer at this game. Had to figure they would get involved with Stevenson at some point. I'll do my best to scare him away.
@Matthew_Suero Might I suggest this tactic:
Take your shirt off and be Bruce Lee.
The 1st step is easy.
The 2nd step....do the best you can...

Sorry I haven't been posting much. I'm saving my phone battery to get some interviews after the game. We have reached halftime with Southridge leading 6-0.

Breaking news on what I am now calling glove gate. CanesInSight can confirm that Tyrique Stevenson came out of the lightning delay not wearing gloves and has not worn gloves since then. Keep it locked here for up to the minute updates. #glovegate

I found a pair of gloves on the sidelines. These look like the golves Stevenson was wearing before the delay. I am still attempting to put the pieces together.

Marcus Barthell's touchdown puts Booker T up 7-6 with 8:10 left in the 3rd quarter

Tyrique Stevenson slow to get up. Looks like it is just a cramp.

Booker T wins 21-20 in a double overtime thriller. Sorry for the lack of post. Full recap on the Friday night insight podcast next week.

Tyrique got beat.

This reminds me of that long and high arcing pass that was thrown to the...VT receiver near the sideline I believe? Where everyone in the stadium thought Dean was going to pick it off and instead he mistimed the jump and got mossed.

first game he played both ways. he's not capable of being elite in the secondary, if he's never rested. @Matthew_Suero did he play both ways again?

Looks like he didn't make all that much effort? Or never saw the ball? Troubling if that was the biggest play of the game. I guess that's Georgia's problem, though.

I watched the overtime play live through Footballville twitter. TS didn't ever turn around to find the ball. You can see it in this clip, too. Interesting, on that "broadcast" he was described as the "#1 DB in the country who is most likely going to be a Georgia Bulldog". First time I heard that said publicly like that.
