His schemes were ahead of where mouth breathers like you simply couldn't understand his exotic defenses.

C'mon now.

I often reflect upon the words of my spiritual and lifestyle advisor, Dan Sileo Jr.

Thank You for your wise words, Emperor. Mr. Sileo Jr. was far more a better with radio hot takes than he was predicting AH corners to the U.

let's hope we can stop the other team on 3rd down. So many times last year we gave it up when we needed a stop

Bumped the offense from 19.5 points per to 30 against P5. Not saying all calls have been awesome, but that jump in points is undeniable.

That's with TVDurrr throwing like three-four red zone picks.

Hill is a Boundary Corner. He was brought in to play the opposite of Darryl Porter Jr.

Brown will play Nickel.

Richard will be the backup Boundary.
I'm in on Hill jumping Richard in the rotation.

I was planning on making a thread out of this, but the defense had massive quantifiable gains last year.

The guy who does Pick 6 Previews has 15 different defensive metrics. Miami improved in every single one from 2022 to 2023. All 15.

Jumped up 50 spots in per play rushing yards/carry and 70 spots in QB rating allowed.

That equated to the 2nd biggest improvement of any Power team last season. From 59th (out of 70 in 2022), to 26th last year.

The edge group is MUCH better. WAY better.

The DT room is, at worst, a wash.

The LB room is, at worst, slightly better with an additional of Alderman, Bissainthe’s development and Kiko being a year older/better.

Obviously the secondary is the question mark. If we can just be close to as good as we were there last year, this should be a Top 15-20 defense.

Pair that with this offense……

Exactly 💯 we need to be more positive 🙏 unless we make a mid season hire 😂 we stuck for now so at least support the stuff.

what’s the deal with Stafford? This is his 3rd year and he’s not top 4/5…..I smell a transfer candidate
In before someone else informs me that Stafford is a Soph and not a Junior

Not sure how I lost track of that one - likely thought he was due to make an instant impact so it seems like he’s been on campus a lot longer than he’s actually there
