The Miami Hurricanes' game versus the Pittsburgh Panthers on October 24th at Hard Rock Stadium will kick off at 12:00 PM Eastern Time, the ACC has announced.
It will be the first noon game of the season for the Miami Hurricanes.
The Pittsburgh Panthers sustained a major blow two weeks ago, losing star signal-caller Mason Heintschel to a torn ACL. He was a huge part of the Panthers' offense, throwing for 14 touchdown passes and one interceptions in five games.
This past Saturday, his absence was felt after their five-game winning streak was snapped by North Carolina. Backup quarterback Holden Geriner completed 27 of 44 passes for 219 yards, two interceptions, and zero touchdowns in the 21-17 loss to UNC.
Last season, the two teams bashed helmets at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where the Hurricanes defeated the Panthers 38-7. Malachi Toney went off for 13 receptions for 126 yards and threw a nine-yard touchdown pass to Elija Lofton.
Can Toney have another breakout game versus the Panthers? We will see on October 24th.
