Miami will have a bunch of top targets and commit on campus Thursday night.

Andrew Ivins

Some of Miami's top commits and targets will be in Coral Gables on Thursday.

InsideTheU has learned that Mark Richt & Co. are hosting a cookout for a select group of prospects to create a 'bonding type experience' for everyone.

The visitors list is absolutely loaded.

Names expected to be on campus include:

5-star RB Lorenzo Lingard (Miami commit)
4-star WR Mark Pope (Miami commit)
4-star WR Dee Wiggins (Miami commit)
4-star DB Josh Jobe (Miami commit)
4-star DB Gurvan Hall (Miami commit)
4-star RB Cam Davis (Miami commit)
4-star OG Delone Scaife (Miami commit)
4-star DT Nesta Silvera (Miami commit)
4-star CB Al Blades Jr.
3-star OT John Campbell
3-star DT Dennis Briggs

Funny how they list Scaife as a four star but they rank him as a 3 star at 515. He better get that bump soon!

4-star CB Al Blades Jr.
3-star OT John Campbell
3-star DT Dennis Briggs

Future commits?

Tyson Campbell can't seem to be bothered to show up for anything.

He managed to go to FIU to meet Urban. No Bueno.

Recruiting 101: Follow the visits. Actions speak louder than words unless you're CJ Henderson...

My gut tells me Campbell is headed to methville.

Obviously I don't know the kid's life and schedule, but it just seems odd Tyson wouldn't show up for that. It's not like it's an extremely long drive, and as someone else mentioned, he managed to make it to FIU to talk to Urban Liar and Nick Satan.. if we're looking at this objectively, things don't seem to be looking up for us landing Campbell.

I'm sure his cousin will say otherwise, and I respect that info, but he doesn't seem to be showing much interest.

CIS logic:

Tyson Campbell doesn't visit: we have no chance.

Pat Surtain visits: we still have no chance.

Josh Jobe is on campus almost every day, but visits Bama once: He'll probably flip

People will find negativity in literally anything on here

Think you're generalizing a bit with this by lumping people together.

Personally, I was worried for a bit about Jobe, but now I'm confident he will stick. I just don't know how you can look at recent activity with Campbell and feel confident about it. Seems interest with Miami has died down quite a bit in favor of (31-0)hio State.

Let's not turn this into a thread about Campbell. Lots of positive with a bunch of our commits hanging out and getting to know each other better

If anything new develops Pete will tell us. We know it's a battle for him and we are gonna have too fight to keep all our recruits.

Wat da word on da Q? Whose cooking it, what day cooking, what kind of smoker/grill?

I'm hoping TC is looking at recruiting as solely an individual decision and is purposefully avoiding getting caught up in group think. I don't see him as the commit/de-commit type of kid. He's gonna make 1 decision and stick. He's gonna be at Paradise and will get the ultimate full court press from Rumph and the rest of the staff. His cousin has been adamant that if the Canes handle their business on the field and win the Coastal(and hopefully more) TC will be a Cane. This one could be a recruiting battle for the ages. I think he'll be a Cane, but one player won't make/break this class. My $0.02.

Go Canes!

That's an impressive list. Nice to see Briggs there.

We have said it a million times, but CMR is playing 3 dimensional chess, he is absolutely brilliant.

Word is a KEG of Gator tears on the way.

Ohh they'll spin it like they didn't want him or he was low on their board just like Cleveland Reed.

The salt will flow nonetheless and will get even more salty if Barnes, Montulius or Gouraige comes to Paradise instead of FNL

Especially Barnes or Gouriage... They'll cry many kegs.

My money says they go with the "we'll flip him later like we do to all of Miami's commits" line.

Thanks fellas. Don't want to divulge much nor derail the thread but given everything he's been through, he's doing pretty well. He's going to Sean Taylor this **** like it's PK Sam and be at his first Canes game in no time. Thx for the support.
