Ingraham fallout and where Miami can go from here on the D-Line

I fully expect Miami to strikeout in all his remaining targets at DT and struggle to fill the IL slots. The season was killed by the pathetic, ininspired display of the UV game and Richt decision along with the UF season. We have no momentum we are the joke in the state and for some reason local recruits use that ascthe excuse to go out.

Hey look it's the UF troll lol...get ready for Georgia to push your sh*t in this weekend. They're ****ed coming of a loss

Oh the same richt that was recruiting at uga now suddenly cant recruit. Yeah okay

Are you implying he was handing out bags at UGA or that he will end up pulling this class together?

My rebuttal would be implying he had a better staff at UGA & kids wanted to play in the SEC.

What I'm saying is yall acting like he cant recruit all of a sudden. It says more about the state of the Miami program and $$$ that they cant close the top kids. Stop promoting the groupie culture in south fla high school football and lets donate and start this foundation if we really tryna keep up with the big dogs.

we all know richt didn't forget how to recruit but as we've seen w every coach thats been here in the last 15 years -- the landscape has changed and specifically w miami. kids do want to be in the SEC (marquee conference), we've been bad regardless of coach forever now and kids want to see that richt can do what he did at UGA (turning them around) here, and i just think kids don't want to stay home

We've been irrelevant longer than these kids have been alive. Add our irrelevant conference on top of that & there you go. Miami facilities (IPF, new weight room, Hard Rock) are no longer an excuse. If we start winning, they will come (or stay, in this case).

When was the last time Texas was championship level good? LSU? Georgia before last year?

i just think kids don't want to stay home

We have to make staying home being cool again. We started doing that last year with the ND & VT atmospheres. Had we not crapped the bed, I think we would have reaped the benefits. Same with this year. Get this thing poppin. Get loose.

Texas doesn't have FSU/UF caliber schools to compete with. Traditionally, they run the state & every family member are diehard Longhorns. Also think Herman is a better recruiter with a better staff.. LSU/UGa get the SEC bump. Play relevant games every year.

see im not even sure it would've mattered bc did we gain a recruit off those two weeks in the immediate? we didn't lose to pitt till 2 weeks later after beating uVA. either way, you're right we have to make staying home cool. what we sadly need is FSU, Clem, MIA, VT being truly contenders all at once. we need recruits to see that MIA-VT is an elite game on par w LSU-UF, LSU-ALA, UGA-UF, etc.

i do agree w herman being a better recruiter but also hes at freakin texas. the amount of money and resources they have is ridiculous.

That's basically what I am saying.. or attempting to, just very poorly.

CURSED. This ACC gave us the AIDS

If you listen to the podcasts you'd hear @Stefan Adams discuss how the staff slowplayed Battle early on as they prioritized other targets like Gant and Sanguinetti.
The slow play Shiite is an excuse that these local kids use to save face. The kids that really want to be here don’t flip and don’t get hurt if you offer late.

tons of other schools slow play recruits all the time and it doesn't matter.

Agreed. Baga just turned their attention to Battle now in mid October of his senior year and he already set his OV there. Let’s see how much being “slow played” really bothers him.

And after the visit the CBs will start flowing. On the real though i don't think he ends up there considering they got interest in dent and will probably steal tyrique the day before signing day
