Actually he's Dred's first cousin, Sam is Nate The Great's Nephew, but Nate's younger son is Marlin who plays for Ohio University.

Never seen him play. Is he comparable to Mike Smith when he was at MNW? Smith had a boatload of sacks, but he tore his knee up aswell and never really did much here. Taking kids with knee injuries is a slippery slope. Hopefully he can overcome it.

Mike Smith doesn't have 1/4th the amount of talent that Sam does.
