In just the little bit of time he had with the team, they seemed to just look better to me. They were saddled with guys who really were not players who belong at Miami and lack of depth. I think there were also some of the seniors who's hearts weren't really in it. This year is probably going to be rough record-wise. It's hard to win with this many young kids, but I really love Golden's attitude. That has to rub off on kids, just as Coker's and Shannon's did, unfortunately. Golden has us ready to run through walls, imagine being around him as much as the players are.

In many ways, he is echoing the approach Howard took when he first took this job. The state of Miami was an almost impenetrable wall. Its been chipped away over the years, but rebuilding it is done one brick (school) at a time. So many years have been lost due to a coach who used YOUTUBE to scout players and ignore them, and a coach who did his very best to not scout them at all. In fact, wtf did he do for 4 yrs in recruiting except **** off local coaches? Coaches who hold the key to a championship when you put all that talen in one place?

Howard knew it. Jimmy Knew it. Butch knew it. Golden knows it. Its a tried and true formula.

This is a great story man. I forgot that he said all that stuff. Man Golden is really out there getting it done. Now he just needs to live up to that promise of getting back to being Miami Hurricanes again and winning championships...

Excellent read. I agree we need to continue to grind right now. The players need to be developed next.
