Ultimately it is not the new stuff but the learning curve .... how fast you can learn and assimilate new stuff and execute. This is where having good QB coaching in the early years matter.... Tate might have an edge on that.... we will see come fall.

well if you have the background experience and information that you have been taught but has fallen off to disuse you tend to pick it up quicker than if you never had the background knowledge to begin with. It is still questionable regarding Tate because he really hasn't stood out head and shoulders above the rest. No one has. So if it is new stuff then the issue is qb intelligence whether you pick things up quickly, not prior experience.

I think Jarren has had professional qb tutelage and he seems to be crisper and more accurate in his throws. Enos has mentioned Tate's footwork being an issue early on so this doesn't necessarily speak well of his past qb coaching regarding technique.

Another clown remark from you.

Find one single post where I show love to Martell.

You just have it in your mushy-brained head that Martell is third string so you’re making shlt up about some report you made up in your head. Show me where anybody has said he is third string. You can’t.

The love fest I’m going to have, it’s for the guy that’s named the starter. Whoever that is.

Hey is that Jon Richt in the clown outfit or is it Mark? Hard for me to tell the difference sometimes.

I'm just the messenger. Jarren and Kosi have performed better to this point from what I have read. Sorry, if if I hurt your feelings with your lovefest for Martell.
Interesting comment...you have on several occasions pointed to what you have read regrading the current pecking order of the QB's. Please direct me to the articles that you are referencing, Thanking you in advance!

Mind games, secret playbooks, keeping the QB a secret..This reminds me of the infamous "We arent going to show everything in the playbook we have until ACC play starts" BS talk I use to hear back when....that is all well and good but we need somebody to practice like the starter at some point so that the offensive players have a chemistry with that QB. Are we wanting Manny to play this game with all the rest of the positions up for grabs?

This is the UF game not FAMU. (love my alma mater but still) I don't want him naming the starter now, but he needs to name one at least a few weeks before the UF game IMO.

(Insert the "Saban didn't name a QB until the day of the opening game last year!" crowd. Yeah yeah. Everyone knew Tua was QB1. Even Hurts.)
They’re 4 practises into an open competition learning a completely new language. Enos also wants to go under center a lot.

I have a feeling we are going to see a lot of play-action like the Rams run. None of these guys have any experience with the footwork and ball-handling required with playing under center. It’s going to take a little more than 4 practises to get there.

You cats are out of your minds if you think anyone is playing games 4 practises into a wide-open QB competition.

"Some of them have never used cadence very much because they would clap a lot."

Jesus christ. I will have reoccurring nightmares about that ridiculous clapping for years to come.
