"Despite Williams being limited in practice, Enos said he felt that the redshirt freshman has bounced back well this week after his poor outing vs. the Hokies. "

Of course he bounced back he is scrimmaging against his own guys not Virginia.

But this staff saying it’s the best week in practice is dead to me.... they yelled this last week and got destroyed.

At some point, you just go out and prove who you are without saying anything.

This Dude is not playing, nor should he have ever played last Saturday..what a disaster. He had a separated shoulder that was wrapped up and threw 4 picks in a row...what the **** is wrong with this Staph??
Looks like a maxi pad slid out from under his shoulder pads.

If you are healthy play if you are hurt don’t. You can’t throw a ball like the one to Wiggins that was picked off in the end zone, as crappy as that throw was, with a separated shoulder.

@Roman Marciante has done at least one breakdown of why Jarren can’t throw the deep ball. His mechanics are trash. He takes a short stride, often talerally, and throws the equivalent of a fade away jumper in basketball. He does not drive the ball down field. That’s why he can have some zip on short throws with just arm, but when he needs to throw the deeper outs, posts, gos etc he can’t just arm throw.

Jarren doesn’t stink he is just vastly overrated by our fanbase.

how can you game plan vertical with such a deficient Oline, its asinine, you just cant jump into a vertical passing game without establishing the run when you have such a bad OL, we were playing dead last week, and in hindsight playing dead with this strategy and not putting in your most mobile QB

Diaz has to baby Jarren cause he's a risk to flee. Hence stating he's our guy when he's clearly been outplayed. We should have let his soft bodied *** transfer when he wanted to.
Yet, he beat out both Perry and Martell in camp, so....

I am not and have never been a fan of "Game Manager" types...I want a difference maker at QB. With our D, if we can score 35 points we will win more often than not...Air it out, put pressure on the opposing defense, put pressure on the opposing offense.

All year, opposing defenses knew JW was not going deep so the fear of him taking the top off the D was not there. That is why safeties crept closer to the line and helped stuff the run game. You don't have to hit every deep ball, but by taking a few shots down field it keeps the defense honest. I feel like this is Football 101 stuff so why aren't we doing it? Cause it appears that JW can't.

I get it if they go with Perry - but if Williams is healthy, I'd go with Williams. Doesn't seem right to evaluate the QB's all Spring & Fall, then yank the guy you thought was best after 1 bad quarter.

I didn't like Perry getting yanked vs UVA after throwing 2 INT's and losing his starting spot to Rosier last year either.

But I get trying to get a spark for a team that's in desperate need of one. But I also don't think either Williams or Perry is much of a difference.

With how adept Williams is as a passer, if he threw 45 plus times in a game where you had to throw to get back in the game he would have put up big numbers too. With that being said regardless who plays and I’ve been saying it for a long time but please ditch the things that are not working in this offense(excessive play action and fullback formations). Go to a more spread/shotgun look and spread it out. Will applaud enos for one thing, despite having the worst offensive line in the country he has the passing game humming right now and that’s even with missed opportunities(13th in passing ranked offense and we are averaging 310 yards per game and also just outside top 10 in completion percentage).

And I agree With your take, if Jarren can play you play him. Not with this musical chairs at qb again.

Don’t take too long for these guys to change up on you. 1 bad quarter of football and people trashing Jarren, sh*ts ridiculous. He had a bad game, he can bounce back from that bad game too...

He had a bad quarter, and the first pick, there was nothing bad about it. The 2nd pick, his poor mechanics popped up. But the decision was OK, it was a one-on-one ball down the field taking a shot (which everyone blasted him for not doing, by the way). It was a poor throw, but to me that's equally on Wiggins. You can't let the defender make that play. I don't care if you get OPI, if I throw you a 50/50 ball, it better be 50 you catch it or 50 it's incomplete. As usual, really soft effort by our WR there. Poor throw, for sure, but man up and prevent a turnover, Dee.

The 3rd one was a poor decision for sure....but it's 3rd and 15 and you're getting hit in the legs as you throw. I totally understand the decision to go with Perry, and judging by the fact the kid didn't throw in practice yesterday he's clearly not 100% healthy (plus he was getting treatment for 2 weeks leading up to the game), but let's not act like he was incredibly inaccurate or making awful decisions.

How bout this.....what if on the 2nd possession, the absolute dime he threw to Jordan on the busted coverage goes for a TD as it should have? Brevin fell down after the catch for no reason, if he stays on his feet he probably scores or at absolute worst its a 50+ yard gain. I'll bet the narrative about Williams is a lot different if our best player doesn't just fall down after a catch on a beautiful throw.

Yeah that was an absolute dime down the field to Brevin yet people say Jarren can’t make throws like that on the far hash on the sideline lol. I’m sure Jarren learned his lesson but you don’t just go and abandon the guy. It’s a lot more people who deserved to be benched prior to Jarrens bad first quarter or after yet they haven’t yet

It's not like Kosi is a senior with no eligibility left. Play the best guy, Perry made the offense look better, he should get an extended look with a week to prepare as the starter.

I've watched that play 10 times and it still makes me sick. How many people are saying Williams sucks if Jordan just turns up the sideline and scores like he does 99 times out of 100 on that play? It's 7-7, five minutes into the game. Again, it's just the little things this team can't get out of its on way on.

How’d you like to be in a fox hole with these **** boys? Soft *******.
I’d love it because there’d be someone to suck my dyck whenever I told them to.

I’m as sour about our miserable season and horrific coaching as anyone, but seeing all these pvssies who are never around here until the bottom falls out suddenly prolifically posting is a study in facquitry.

I said something similar to @Cribby last night. A shrink could write a thesis on this place. I honestly believe that the majority of people here right now are absolutely miserable in their personal lives and somehow actually enjoy Miami being ****** just so they have somewhere to dump their tears.

It's been like that since back in the grassy days. People always want to be the one to say they were first to spot trouble like it's a badge of honor. It would take a blind, deaf person to not see issues with this team.
