Shall i say Kaaya and Rosier are the reasons they are slow playing him.

We need a "de-commit" feature on the #CrystalBall. Jojo Robinson, CJ Worton, JC Jackson, Alin Edouard a few that likely become available

****. I Like Edouard most out of all the QB prospects on our board. Wonder whats up with the little contact and impression that Coley isnt too high on him.

"When I first committed to Miami, they were calling me every week, but now I haven’t heard from them.”

Quit your crying and be a man. Sound like a bunch of little girls... he hasn't called me. These kids that all NEED their asses kissed the entire time. You committed, now we're busy kissing other butts so you have someone to block for you and so you to have someone to throw the ball to.

I feel bad for him, it seems pretty obvious Coley doesn't want him so they are cutting off communication. This is why people shouldn't bash kids when they continue to look around.

Coaches change and then their needs change.

Fisch wanted Olsen/Dewey/Crow
Cristobal wanted Alin
Coley wants Kaaya/Rosier

it will be interesting to see who had the best eye for talent.

in the past six years, the coach who selected our best QB was Whipple.

let this sink in.

I think Rozier and Kaaya have better upside than Alin but I do like him as well but it I had to choose between two of the three...Edouard might get left at the alter. This is quickly becoming a grown man business and these kids are expected to grow up faster than they would like. Its unfortunate, but it happens.

That is actually amazing. oh and VERY VERY SCARY!!

Whipple was a ****** calling plays.

Doesn't mean he couldn't coach QBs though.

IF the staff doesn't want him anymore why not just tell the kid.. Every one biches how some recruits do UM wrong but if what people say is true, that UM phasing him out because they don't want him anymore.. Then that's pretty ****ed up imo, especially considering these are grown men that's doing it..

Here's a thought, Golden has a Sports Psychology Degree. Perhaps he's testing the kid. You have to pick your spots I'm sure on which kids you're going to pull that on, but an early QB committ is perfect. Especially when there seems to be alot of options out there and we just signed Olsen.

I think Alin is failing that test. I hear Tennessee can be nice for parts the year.

If he sticks then nice, but if not it's no biggie IMO. Especially if we get Kaaya.

LOL @ some of you mofos that are bashing the kid. If he's telling the truth, the kid stated that he has tried calling and Coley doesn't answer. How is the kid supposed to react? If we are moving on then cool, but some of you guys seem to be way off base with your comments about how the kid is reacting.

And with that said, let me mention this. I'm a big Al Golden fan. I think he's going to turn things around here, but he's playing with fire if they are moving on from this kid because they are banking on Rosier and Kaaya. Mark my words, those two guys are going to leave us holding our dik in our hands.

I gree with you except about Rosier and Kaaya because too many schools are slow playing them both and unlike other positions QBs don't wait till after the summer to commit, because of that i think we're in the driver seat for both

I'm starting to think it's obvious Coley prefers other players over him. Luckily, he seems to have a lot of other options and it's super early in the process.

Agreed, it's bull****. Be upfront with the kid. ****, just take the kid. Al has done some questionable **** on the trail. We really aren't in a position to tute our noses in the air....

I don't think he's done many questionable things, I believe that recruits and other coaches getting butt hurt. With that said, this is ****ed up because no matter what you have to stay in contact with the kid to keep a relationship just like if you have a gf or a wife you still keep that relationship strong and to phase a recruit out is wrong. I can put it like this, if Khari Clark committed and Jethro wasn't staying in contact who would all of the same bashers of Alin blame if Clark decommitted?

QB's are what often make coaches careers, and Coley knows this all too well. You pick the best two and worry about hurting feelings later. Can't afford to have a QB like Harris consistently making bad decisions ruin your career.

I thought we jumped on Crow to early and now we did the same with Edouard. I would rather work to lock in my #1 choice first and then work from there.

If both Kaaya and Rozier want in I think the plan is to bring these 3 guys in for a camp and let them compete for 2 spots. If Eduoard doesn't embrace the competition then he has a number of options to choose from.

Net/net here is the coaching staff should be on the phone with this kid and give it to him straight. If you want build a program around core values, then you need to walk the talk.

If I'm not mistaken, he was the one that committed early before the offers started to roll in for him (before the summer eval period). Once he started getting offers and attention, the began to tweet about other opportunities and how he was committed but not a solid verbal (what the **** does that mean!).

If you don't believe me, check his twatter timeline and/or just search his name for the threads that have been posted about him.

It could also be that Golden understands that drama from your "leader" (the QB) is not good for the class...so they're cutting him loose.

It could also be a combination of a lot of different things:

-Coley doesnt like him
-Golden didnt like him waffling
-Edouard doesnt want to be here, but doesnt want to be the bad guy
-Golden/Coley have better options, so they are giving him the Travis Johnson treatment
