have we discussed that barkate went to Harvard before duke...have we ever had a Harvard transfer balling out for this progrum?

Not that I know. However, we did flip a commit from them that's no longer on the roster.

Just for some nerdy af math as to why the buyout is NO CHANCE even close to $4 mil:

Mensah's NIL deal with Duke was 8 mil over 2 years (4 mil per year).

In getting out of that deal, if he has to pay $4 mil, his next NIL deal would have to be $8 mil over ONE year, just to cover what he would have gotten guaranteed already, let alone surpass it.

Yup if you were worried bout losing Mensah how bout you go get Seaton and Wilson to firm up his faith in your commitment to winning. Oh and pay the man while you re at it

These Duke mother****ers think that because they hit gold one time (when they offered Mensah a 2-year deal at a time when he really wanted Miami and Miami really wanted Mateer), they should be able to ride that "buy-low-sell-high" gravy train indefinitely.

**** all that nonsense...

My god Mensah might have the best WR core in the entire country

Outside WR Cam Vaughn
Outside WR Cooper Barkate
Slot Malachi Toney
WR4 Vandrevius Jacobs
Unanimously the 2nd best WR in the country in Toney and another top 10 guy in Barkate. Probably 1 and 2 in the ACC. You could make a case for Duce Robinson, Bryant Wesco, and TJ Moore being in the discussion. That's the top 5.

Plus, Vaughn, Jacobs, and Moore would start on every other team in the conference. Won't even pull in the freshman for this discussion as its a complete projection.

Passing game is going to be unreal and the running back room is just as good. 3 guys that would start on at least 12 teams in the conference.
