If you can’t get a 5* RUNNING back reps running the ball at the very least then you’re a coRch. Can missed most of his holes to run through he might be just “running left running right”

So which Cane lineman do you suggest replace the kid, Einstein? Oh. And one more notion. Why don't you peruse the current offensive linemen available. And go from there. But I'll give you a lame hint. The possible replacements are quite disturbing. Or should I say laughable. dUh

I seriously doubt anybody could look much worse Einstein, he's getting abused period.

Kid has bust his *** for this program since his senior year. If these corches are going to disrespect his talent, I can’t be mad at him if he left. Plenty of other programs that would find a way to get him on the field, and there would be threads every week on how he’s killing it
Threads every week on how he is killing it? It was ONE WEEK he had been going full contact and didn't see the field. One. The same week he took his first inside run drills since his injury.

Some of you get so consumed by your narratives that you start writing fantasy novels.

hes been hurt for an entire year essentially. theyre going to be careful with him and make sure hes full strength. its not like he wasnt playing due to just not being good enough in their eyes (ala pope last year).

He's already lost all the cache he had before the season started.

every coach gives you that nonsense. its just coach speak to feed to the media. the question is will we continue getting out coached on a weekly basis or not?

That is sharp? Not in that video and no offense to the young man about it. He looks like he's half assing it, which is understandable considering the situation.

I believe Lingard was cleared to play and have contact for 1 week before the CMU game. Had this team dominated CMU he might have got in the game to get some reps and test out his knee to actual contact. The team ****ed that opportunity.

I hope he gets a certain package of plays and gets in on the return game in the next 3 weeks. Similar to DJ and the wildcat we need Lingard with 5-10 plays that he can come in on and run to a tee. He needs to get on the field.

Other than that, he isn’t starting over DJ this year. He needs to beat Cam out in practice - and he has practiced full contact now for 2 weeks?

I cringe on what Bud Foster is going to throw at Zion. He’s going to be targeted all game. I hope to see a TE or RB helping him.

Fortunately VT has a horrible offense, because Bud Foster is going to expose our OL. JW's composure will be seriously tested.

Lmao at Shanny's explanation......what a ******* idiot

Put him in the game, give him the ******* ball and see what he can do. It's that ******* simple

absolutely it's that simple, according to you? lol it makes manny a ******* idiot for not putting him in a game yet, over guys who have produced and stayed healthy. wow

I would think you can find a specific set of package plays for your 5 Star Home Run Hitting Running Back instead of looking for reasons as to why he shouldn't be on the field.

That's just me tho.

Exactly.

If he can't block don't put him in there to block. There are dozens of ways to get him the ball where he does not even have to be the primary back.

It is just stupid and just shows how limited the thinking is here.

What I really don’t follow about all is fans calling for Lingard to play is that most fans and coaches wanted to get rid of “the disease” and “promote competition” as well as “change the culture”. How does that work if the first week a 5 star who has barely practiced in a year is healthy he gets to play extensively?

You earn the right to play through beating your competition in practice. Lingard has been injured up until very recently, he hasn't had the opportunity to earn his way back onto the field.

Our OL needs help from the RBs so if you don't know your assignment then you're getting Jarren killed (more than normal).

Putting Lo in and him getting the ball every time and not using play action will work for a half of football at most.

I know, I swear there are too many video gamer fans these days.

They watch Jarren get knocked on his *** all the time, big Deejay and Cam can't find the smallest crease to run through, but Diaz is a dumb **** for not putting a back in just off a knee injury that requires a hole and can't break many tackles. LMFAO.

NOBODY wants the kid to leave, BUT I should assume nobody wants him right back in the OR again, right?

Players want to play. Fathers want their sons to play. Coaches (good or bad) SHOULD give a rat's *** about their players health.
