Diaz talks kicking game, injuries, and missed tackles after GT loss

Agree with the earlier post, these games wouldn't even being close if we just had some attention to detail, and this is on the coaches. Every game we lose we spot the other teams points like its Christmas. Muff punts that lead to touchdowns, missed FG from point blank, X points, 4 t/o in a quarters, missed tackles, missed assignments and it goes on an on. Every time we get a penalty it seems to wipe out 20 plus plays, we got no depth to bench folks so we got to keep rolling out the same culprits. The only solid game we played all year against Virginia we won, and should have won going away ( between drops/ and missing wide open wrs). Let's realize that between VT and GT we gave up 42 points on t/o and special teams breakdown, even Alabama couldn't over come this. The other issue is the post game reaction from these players, yeah they didn't do anything we didn't expect, watch the film , make corrections, need to put this behind us, good grief its like yeah, its cool we tried.

You're right. The team is not 4 plays away from 7-0.

They are probably 6-7 plays away from 7-0. 1 play vs. UF, 1 play vs. UNC, 2-3 plays vs. VT, and 1 play vs. GT.

UF outplayed us and we were lucky to only lose by 4. But we outplayed UNC, VT, and GT. We also outplayed CMU and UVA, but both of those teams had shots to beat us. Realistically we should be 4-3 or 5-2.

Ok Manny.

Manure Diaz is a disaster. He’s trying that 4 plays from perfect shell game that the mongoloids do on here. You can go through all those games and find some plays the other team didn’t make too.

CMU was technically one play from beating us. A TD on any of the plays on their final drive beats us.

I've never been more proud of this fanbase, that's the only bright spot in the season. A majority of fans recognize that Diaz is in way over his head and recognize through his BS period. And we also recognize that Blake James is a larger part of the problem than Diaz himself. Job well done, gents!

I am even more proud of the fans who are figuring out where the actual head of the snake lies. The BOT Chair, Vice Chairs, Senior Members, and other idle Trustees. Fans learning the names of millionaires like BOT Chair Hilarie Bass, Vice Chair David Epstein, and Vice Chair William Morrison, and who are starting to cast their aspersions in the right direction.

Yeah, Manny is clearly in over his head and not getting it done. But Manny Diaz was a first-time HC on his way to Temple, who our weak-willed, yes-man of an AD hired after a "nationwide search" that lasted all of 16 hours, and after which both Epstein and James stupidly admitted Manny was the only guy they targeted during the search. It's clear as day Epstein and James were spearheading the Diaz hire, likely with the rest of the BOT power-players' tacit approval. Which is no surprise, considering it was Epstein who was involved in the initial decision to elevate James to interim-AD, and then AD.

Of the individuals on the BOT, it's Epstein who is always front and center whenever football is involved. He was at the press conference with James and Manny when Manny was announced as HC. He was at the press conference with James and Richt when Richt was announced as HC. I vaguely remember him following Shalala's lead and drafting an editorial or open letter chastising the NCAA for the handling of the Shapiro investigation. And like his recent endorsement of Manny, this endorsement of Richt and James after Wisconsin trounced us (again) last year is fairly typical of him: “While we all know this has been a difficult season for UM football,’’ Epstein posted on Twitter, “we have no doubt that you and Coach Mark Richt will have our program once again back to prominence. I stand alongside you both in your continued commitment! #backontopin19.’’

Uncle Puke is generally a giant moron, and a traitor who runs his mouth recklessly, but he spoke no lies four years ago when he said: "The trustees are out of touch with diehard Canes fans. They want to cater to the bourgeois Brickell Avenue and Coral Gables crowds and pretend the U is the Yale of the South. Their main concern is getting their names emblazoned on campus buildings, not being able to compete on the football field with today's major programs like the University of Alabama and Ohio State University." Sadly, this is still the status quo.

Yep, I keep saying, we're a few legit plays here and there from being 1-6. Works both ways/.

Diaz is an idiot. 4 plays away from being undefeated? He lets the team believe that BS??? How about this, we are ONE PLAY away from being 2-5. Maybe 2-3 plays from being 1-6.

Forget calling him Shanny Diaz, or Manny Shannon. He's Charmin Diaz. Soft as a baby's butt.

And as for playing a new kicker... Said it before and I'll say it again. I seriously doubt Baxa goes 0-3 if he's allowed to kick all three. Dude is in a funk, for sure, but if anyone here thinks the other kickers have more ability, they are crazy. Help the kid get his mind right and he'll be fine. Playing tough guy with kickers and ******** with their heads is a really bad idea. Also, Charmin needs to figure out the importance of centering the ball for kicks when he knows full well the kickers are struggling. Yeah, they SHOULD be able to hit from an angle, but ****, I have seen teams take delay of game penalties to help their kicker get a better angle. It's really that important. Enos and Charmin do NOTHING to center the ball for their kickers. It just shows their level of incompetence.

I won't call him Shanny Diaz, or Manny Shannon. It's an insult to Randy Shannon.

Diaz is FAR worse than Randy Shannon. That much is clear as day.

This ************ is in a league of his own as the worst coach Miami has EVER had.
