Coach speak from Coach, but let's be real here; it's going to be tough sledding offensively on the 24th. I seriously doubt this O is going to come out humming from the jump when we're not even sure of who our starting QB is going to be and we have obvious holes on the OL. Hopefully Enos gets a little creative offensively, we limit the turnovers, and our defense sets up our O by creating turnovers. Mistakes are going to be huge in this game because I expect both offenses to struggle. Win ugly and on to the next week.

The defense they are going against in practice is significantly better especially in the front 7

Just sounds like the QBs are massively inconsistent. Might as well be playing roulette at the moment.

No he didn't
Perry is the one guy who WON'T be our QB . That is honestly pretty obvious just from all the reports coming out. Williams is a great passer and Tate is a great free style QB with feet and dazzle but needs help with mechanics ( not arm strength) . It will be a tough decision. Perry is not a great passer and doesn't dazzle with his leadership or feet or anything . Really who the **** knows whether it will be Martell or Williams but I gotta think they go with the best passer and then if he has trouble it becomes Martell's team. But again who knows it could end up the other way around . But I have no concern the coaches will be dumb enough have Perry out there in 2 weeks.

Also our D this year will be the best D Diaz has had at UM IMO so I fully expect the D to kick the O's *** every time . Means very little . Now if we after 4 games our offense is averaging 17 pts a game I will change my tune but literally all our offense needs to be is somewhat better with our D to be a 10-2/ 11-1 type team going into the ACCTG. Our offense last season was the worst in Canes history . That won't happen with Enos though It takes time and you can't skip steps. Gotta walk before you can run.

Seeing that Perry has had multiple turnovers in each of the scrimmages, it seems like his chances are dwindling. Jarren May actually be the choice but I also Can see tate winning it
If our OL was as bad as we are speculating, we may have to roll with Tate who is the Dual Threat and has the best wheels. I went to the scrimmage at Dade North and I thought that Jarren looked the best; but some cats behind me thought that Kosi did. Dunno!

Thing is as Diaz has stated, Williams is more mobile than given credit for. No he’s not as elusive as tate but he can do somethings and throw well on the run. Interested to see who will be named the guy

That comment sounds good, but it still doesn't mean that the defense we face on the 24th won't also be better. I'm not going to gloss over the fact we have serious question marks on the OL, and most if you ask to give their honest opinion expect us to have to play more than one QB at some point this season. Again, I'm perfectly happy with an ugly win. I'm not expecting this O to look good in two weeks.

I was a Tate fan early on...but doesn't it seem at this point that Jarren is better than the other two??? More consistent, throws a better ball, maybe not as elusive as the other two but has speed, etc. I feel like if you just start Tate "because you don't want to start a redshirt freshman against UF" then that itself is a cop out.

I’m fine with either. Can’t really accurately judge any of these QBs without a live rush honestly. And I agree with that sentiment. Martell should start if you feel he can move the offense the best. If it’s because you don’t want to start a redshirt freshman then I’m against that idea
