DE/DT Daniel Carson update

I exchanged messages this morning with Canes DL target Daniel Carson, who said he met with Coach Kuligowski at his school yesterday for an extended period of time and it went “great”.

Carson pulled in an offer from Tennessee yesterday, but says that the only visit he plans on taking is Nebraska this weekend. He OV’d to Miami last weekend and the Canes are recruiting his a a DE/DT hybrid. Carson is a February signee.

Very good chance for Miami here.

Nah that's a position, esp with the roster we have where you definitely take 4 if needed...But sure 3 is fine. We are no lock for 3 though.

Nah hat's a position, esp with the roster we have where you definitely take 4 if needed...But sure 3 is fine. We are no lock for 3 though.

Yea I don't think Coburn is realistic. He even said in an interview with Ivins that he was probably signing with Texas.

No they play different positions. Carson will probably play DE at texas because they run a 3-4.

He didn’t say it to him. It was quoted from an article I believe.
