Dolphins drafted Ollie Gordon..watching his clips and he reminds me of Martinez. Maybe a little more agile and less physical, but very similar vision, setting up blocks, catching the ball, and from a physical standpoint.
Not being a homer, I’d have taken Martinez over Gordon.

Not a surprise. Dude did everything well here. Our best and most complete back since Duke Johnson. Maybe even better, just didn’t have that elite speed.

That man brought pain behind his pads the second half of the season. I would hate to have to tackle that man in the 4th quarter with the game on the line. He tries to hurt people.
He went to a team with a lot of backs on roster. Hope he balls out like he did the back half of last season for us.
Criminally under drafted
Ran a faster 40 at combine than Duke though.
Ran a 4.51 at 220 lbs, and topped out at 21.2MPH in a game last year on breakaway run vs Cuse. Idk why people think he’s not fast

He had to be either injured or out of shape to begin the year. He looked markedly faster and better conditioned in the second half of the season.
I was not aware. And once again, that doesn’t surprise me either. He’s plenty fast, but just wasn’t known as a blazer.
Unpopular opinion here, and posters will give me the “disagree” or thumbs down icon without any refute, but I’m of the belief he should have got all of Jordan Lyle’s touches in the 2nd qtr and some of Fletchers. Maybe we don’t lose the Syracuse game?
