Cracks starting to show in FSU recruiting; new RB on UM's radar

**Like many would expect it might, the poor start at FSU is beginning to effect recruiting. Sources close to the situation tell CIS that at least one FSU commit is starting to have doubts and begin to waver and that's IMG OL Dontae Lucas. Lucas had previously been keeping Miami as an option despite his commitment to FSU in the spring (Lucas visited UM's campus this summer), but was still expected to sign with the Seminoles in the end. Now, that's much more in doubt. If Miami continues to push here, they have a good shot at the flip.

**Miami is evaluating and talking over offering 2020 RB Henry Parrish from Columbus. The 5'10" 175 pound RB has only one offer so far (from FAU), but UM has shown interest in him in the past and brought him in on a visit over the spring. He'll be a prospect to keep an eye on over the next few months.

Sorry Stefan you do great work but shaky source. Kid is starting Day 1 at FSU so slow start isn’t having a negative affect on him.

Starting Day 1 at FSU with that OL is not some accomplishment right now.

Thats a big leap in the 100 but the 200 I can see

Guys like him are exactly why FSU's OL is awful. They have plenty of 4* guys and a 5*. The problem is they were all bad evals. Lucas looks the same. He's done well in camps but he's in terrible shape and is a turnstile in games

I guarantee you Lucas will have a better career than at least 2 but probably 3 of our current starters at offensive linemen.

I would not describe the semenholes season so far as a “slow start” more like an unmitigated disaster.
Hard to imagine a HC doing less with what he has.
I absolutely believe everything you say about Lucas and if he is willingly going to that dumpster fire to play for the “lethal simplicity” then I question his sanity.

I’ll take Lucas but **** Hunter. From there we should press Dent, Gant, Green, and Howell for a flip. They could legit only have 3/4 wins this year. We need to capitalize on ***gert.

I think we shut it down with Crowley and shoot for MAR as the second and let him play his way into a DB.
