Ain't an insider but just passing along some **** I've been told...

Apparently Cook's 'camp' has let it be known it's a UF-FSU battle with him leading strongly towards FSU. Could be a smokescreen and he'll goi to Miami, I don't know. But I know UF just recently offered Tony James and another back from Louisiana, so the writing is on the wall. He's visiting for the UF-FSU game but I personally feel it's to see FSU on UF's dime. The coaches are planning on pulling out all the stops on the visit but it's a longshot at the moment. **** me if FSU gets Cook and Rudolph. **** this **** to **** man.

My sentiments also.

We did this to ourselves. ****ing Duke.

Yep, looks like FSU is going on another one of those 10yr dominant runs, **** I hate football

Same with UF. Nobody to blame but that bum *** coaching staff. I love em but if I had a son I wouldn't send him anywhere near there. All they had to do was look ******* competent and they likely land Cook and Rudolph along with Lane. Now they'll be lucky to get one of those while FSU ******* loads up.

Any word on Trevor Darling possibly flipping? Not trying to start ****, but rumors on FSU's board Cook is recruiting him to FSU. I guess you can take that with a grain of salt though because they think they're getting everybody. Though this year they may be ******* right SMH.

Well, Im sure Cook is recruiting him to FSU, and I would be willing to bet Darling is recruiting him to Miami.

They have actually said that on many occasions.

Darling isn't going anywhere. Kid has been so solid its unbelievable. He committed to us over a year and a half ago on 04/05/2012.

it may be old, but I think its enough to know Darling is going nowhere. If you watch the Yearby and Cook videos also, I get the feeling that Cook is coming. we shall see...

cook probably doesn't know he is coming yet. if he decides to come its going to be one of those last minute decisions where he just doesn't have the heart to leave his family. he obviously isn't in love with us like some of our other commits.

- Cook isn't taking an ov to UF for the FUS-UF game this weekend

- His ov on the 6th will be with Trevor Darling who will use his ov that day too

- His top 3 is FSU, UF and Um in that order but he's still "committed"

- He's going to announce after his championship game on the 13th or 14th and not the UA game

Lol this doesn't even make sense.

It actually happens more than you think.

Just last year Quay Bain released a top five of five schools not including Florida State (who he was committed to)

When asked if that meant he de-committed he said "no, I'm still committed."

Recruiting is a strange game, it's not meant for everyone.

- After he commits next month he says he's done. “I’m going to stay committed because I don’t want to keep flipping,”. He thinks UF may be home but you never know

- FSU is really pushing hard for him and their success is helping also. “I’m loving Florida State right now,” Cook told Bartow. “I just have a good relationship with the whole coaching staff right now. Devonta Freeman is like a big brother to me. He can mentor me and keep me on the right path. He also said that the fact they are winning and having success on offense is a big plus

- Says FSU is somewhat his leader and that UF and UM trail in that order

- It's a strange situation since he's "committed" to UF. “I’d sum it up like, I’m still trying to find where I can fit in at,” Cook said. “Florida, I always wanted to be a Gator and right now I’m still a Gator.” Aka bull**** he's no longer a Gator

- T-Rob is trying to keep him around. He says that the players coming in will make big plays, Cook will start as a freshman and the program will turn around

- The loss to GSU hurt UFs chances with Cook. “They just got to get more players in the program. We lost to Georgia Southern and it was a tough loss for the program. Everybody is down on the program and we just got to bounce back, we got to get more playmakers like we did before.”

- Since his team is playing Saturday he can't go to the UF/FSU game on Saturday but he will visit UM the week after. He won't visit UF anymore as his plans go right now

- The last trip to UM can be huge for the program in stealing him. “[Hurlie Brown] just tells me why not win championships at home and why not come play with [Miami Central teammates who are committed to the Hurricanes] Joe [Yearby] and Trevor [Darling].

- He wants to see Coral Gables for himself and spend 48 hours with the coaches and see what the campus has to offer if it's right for him. As he says "see if I get that feeling inside".

- He thinks after the State Championship game he'll end it. “I was thinking I was going to do it at the state championship game,” Cook said, which would be December 14.

Freeman will be a senior this year. Funny how UF's staff is telling him he'll start from day one. I wonder what all of the other RB's that were recruited in previous cycles think of that.

Kid feels like FSU all they way to me. It is what it is. Would be nice to get him, but life will go on. Would like to grab another RB in this class. There is talent there next year too for us to bring in.

Duke will be back hopefully healthy. Gus will have a year under his belt, hopefully stronger. I think he's shown some flashes here and there that he can become a decent power back for us once he gets the offense down and adds some strength and works on some technique. Yearby is going to get carries, and his speed has much improved by all accounts. And we will bring in some more studs next year.

The world will not end if Cook goes to FSU.

I read Freeman already graduated or is about to and to me he has no reason to stay another year. He's ready for the draft

Obviously, sounds like an FSU-lean, but this situation feels different than MT6.

He has teammates committed, a brother that will play for the basketball team, and a head high school coach in Roland Smith. IMO, I just can't see him half-assing a visit here and trolling the University. Still don't feel very confident, but we'll get the last shot.

I think FSU is the team to beat but theres a slight chance that being there with family, the thought of playing in front of his parents who can see both of their kids at the same school and maybe we blow him away can pull out the upset. Not counting on it but you never know, UF came out of nowhere
