Haven't watched but apparently been balling based on stats this year. Had 12 tackles in 27 snaps in one of their games
That may well be true. He'll have plenty of tackling opportunity with the team he plays for.

Robinson told ON3 he had a good visit and plans to take an OV to OSU the weekend of Oct 20th. That's the weekend Miami plays Clemson - Jeremiah Smith has also told ON3 he will be back at OSU that weekend, too. (they play Penn State)

Robinson says he will be back at Hard Rock for the Ga Tech game.
Ohio St fleecing us and getting the better weekend

From the Buckeye 247 site this morning:

-, Robinson has told Bucknuts on multiple occasions he is definitely interested in the Buckeyes and would like to visit Ohio State, perhaps when the Buckeyes host Penn State on Oct. 21. Robinson made the visit earlier , visiting this past weekend.

He went with his parents , watching Friday practice, meeting with Ryan Day and Brian Hartline.

" It was all great. They just want me to come there. They say I fit their program.” “They talked about four wide receivers in the class,” “That doesn’t matter to me.”

Teammate RB Jordan Lyle is committed to OSU. Robinson says he talks to Lyle about OSU and that Lyle tells him "...do what is best for me.”

He told Bucknuts that he will be visiting Miami for the game vs Ga Tech on 10/7. After that an OV to OSU is possible.

OSU already has commitments from two 5-star wide receivers in Jeremiah Smith and Mylan Graham and a high 4-star wide receiver in Jeremiah McClellan.

Remember when 24/7 said Chance was going to Florida?

This was a weird article. It didn't have the feel of articles where the writer is trying to drum up excitement for a prospect. Even some of Robinson's responses were kind of lukewarm. I quoted him directly a few times where it seemed necessary. I thought it was interesting he said "is was possible he could return on 10/21" - it didn't come across as a definitive statement.

He DID go with his parents so they're involved.

Nothing about Robinson’s interest in OSU makes sense; not the distance from home, the depth chart, the coaching staff. I keep coming back to the NIL package but if UM really wants him then we know the NIL package will match anything OSU offers. One could argue that OSU has had a lot more success with receivers in the NFL. But that means nothing if Robinson can’t get on the field at OSU, hence the depth chart issue. They have (2) 5 stars in the class that Robinson would be joining.
I wonder if Smith is pushing Robinson. Maybe Smith is tired of the pressure from his 7 on 7 teammates to flip to UM and is now trying to flip someone to OSU.
Does anyone have a rational explanation about what Robinson is thinking?

Its not that complicated at all. A perrennial top 10 maybe probably even top 5 program that is second to none recently in getting WRs to the next level is courting you and wants you. Why wouldnt he be interested? Also in terms of the uphill depth chart battle, yeah its defintely real but when Taint is telling you that you are good enough for a scholly from them and you believe in your skillset, its not hard to fathom that the kid just outright thinks he will win playing time and this is his best path to the league.

You are probably correct. I don’t think his thought process is logical about beating out (2) 5 stars in his class along with at least (1) 5 star last season not to mention however many other 5 star receivers they have, and will recruit in the next 3-4 years. So you are probably right as to what he is thinking. I could make a strong case that his thought process is not logical, but maybe logic is in the eye of the beholder.

I want the most talented WRs in America to commit to us. But I'm not gonna lose sleep over Robinson (or any other WR recruit) jumping ship. It's not what i want, but I have FULL CONFIDENCE in Dawson to scheme whatever WRs we have open.

Deep down, I have a feeling we may end up with a WR or two that is completely off our collective radars - assuming we keep producing the way we have.
