Shaq lost weight and became less effective.

Pinckney gained weight and became slightly less effective but continued making plays.

McCloud was pretty much a disaster this season.

How did this become about linebackers?

Mccloud was overhyped from the beginning just because he started as a freshman. Check the film - he didn’t make many plays last year.
He’s stout at the point of attack and he’s athletic when blitzing. Horrible when he has to read/react and horrible in space.

I didn’t see any issues with Pinckney this year. Thought he was our best LB for the second year in a row.

Shaq is solid....better than Mccloud...but not in the same league as Pinckney. Keep in mind, he’s still a true sophomore.

Michael Jackson is NFL ready that's a given u fckn clowns. He has the measurables his draft stock will be based on his combine numbers. 1st - 4th round potential.

That's a bit of a hot take and a little bit of a strong way of putting things stylistically.

Here's what I will say about The Glove: I'm not sure that his draft stock isn't as high as it possibly could be right now. Sure, if he comes back for another season and has an absolutely stellar year with 5-6 picks, again has one of the lowest QBR's Against in the country, stays healthy all year, etc, etc, theoretically, he could improve his draft position significantly. The chance for something to go wrong, whether it be injury, or opponents figuring out how to expose him, etc, etc, leaves just as big a downside for him.

I'd love to see him come back, perform at a high level for us, and be a guaranteed 1st or 2nd round pick next year. But I can certainly see the merit in any choice he makes, especially for a guy who 6 months ago had seen most of his career wasted by NoD and Gorlden and now suddenly wakes up in the morning with a chance to get drafted and play on Sundays 8-9 months from now. There is no right or wrong answer here. I wish him the best in making the right decision and in his future endeavors.

Whatever decision he makes, his success is proof positive that this coaching staff can help players that come to Miami make the most of their opportunities and improve their career prospects. We on the way, in no small part thanks to the King of Pop's efforts on and off the field in the past 12 months.

You do you, Mike.

If you wanna make the world a better place, take a look at yourself, then make that change.

The risk of injury is valid but if there is a concern that he will get figured out and exposed, he’ll be broke and out of the league in a few years regardless.

He should take out an insurance policy, come back and get developed more by Rumph, go into next season as one of the top corners and ball out.

In the end he’ll do what he thinks is in his best interest and live with the consequence, whether good or bad.

Broke? Only if he makes bad decisions financially. You realize that a rookie contract can more than pay for his last semester/year at any university he chooses to finish school.

I think he's got first round potential. If he runs well, I think its a slam dunk, but underclass corner is such a volatile market to project. Every year, there is just some weird cases where they drop completely out of the draft for seemingly no reason or incredibly late. It seems every year, like clockwork, the "best available" players come round four are some overrated QB, underclass corners, and overrated underclass linebackers.

If he leaves early he can come back and finish school later on. His tuition will be free but not his room and board

The draft process is generally not kind to 1-year starters unless you jump off the screen as elite like Marshon Lattimore.

Jackson has a lot to gain by returning next year.

This is also true. Lattimore's tape was near flawless, too. This man was not beaten much at all (neither was Conley...Denzel Ward on the other hand). Once they see some dirty film, they do kill you for it.
