Ruggs just picked Bama. They've gotta run out of room for WRs at somepoint?

Maybe there's a slight chance Smith pulls a shocker lol

Lol this **** is amazing

Smith will go to 'Bama, be about #6 on the depth chart, and transfer out in a few years. Or, he could come here, compete for playing time from Day 1, and pad his stats in a passing-friendly attack in a conference with weaker defenses across the board.

Yet if somebody blames these kids for these stupid *** decisions you're called crazy because god forbid the coaches do their job and these kids just say **** it and decide to ruin their career with their choice.

Alabama has 3 WR committed as of now...maybe there is a reason we sent the National LOI...long shot but just a theory.....Smith would be the 4th WR and if they didn't have room for an elite player like Parks in a place where they value Defense over Offense, why would they have room for Smith?

The more I think about it the happier I am about our class. Either of Henderson or Edwards would be bonuses and Mcfarland backstabbing us hurt, but we've got a pretty good class this year and we have a very nice class next year in the position of need ( DB)

You're right, except for the weaker conference part

the $EC is ***

Just because they don't put up points doesn't mean the defenses are good, the offenses are just putrid

It's some of both. LSU, 'Bama, UF will all have multiple first-round picks on defense this year. There's certainly no one in the Coastal who comes close.

miami has reached out to parks per Bartow

Those Alabama WR's going to be transferring real soon. Idiots.

losing henderson and edwards sucks, nobody has to pretend otherwise, but it's still a good secondary class regardless and we already have studs locked in for 2018. stack chips is the mantra but those are survivable losses.

the one that really stings for me is mcfarland, because we're thin at that position, and unlike the secondary, our 2018 RB class is, right now, only theoretical.

Our 2018 DB class is also theoretical. None of these guys are even close to guaranteed. By now everyone should know that nothing is for sure until the LOI is signed.

that's fair, but guys like frierson and ivey seem locked in. you never know, but those seem as solid as can be this far out, so it's ok to feel some degree of confidence about that position. whereas right now we have no RB commits.

We landed many Day 1 starters to address major holes. Namely qb and OL. Henderson is one of those 4 star "athlete" types, not a 4 star CB. It will take him a couple years to learn the position so he wasn't going to contribute next year. Edwards actually played CB so he might have been able to sub in every once in a while. Missing on those guys is disappointing but not an epic fail that ruins the class. The CB talent in S. FL next year is legit chock full of 5 star day 1 starting CBs. This year was training wheels for rumph. Next year he MUST get the job done.

I'm sure it means nothing but it looks like the guy is at Columbus and it's probably for the 2016 fall sports.
