Thank God.

Bond is by far my favorite recruit. Awesome! Good job guys on the interview!

Great to hear he was brought in primarily as an edge pass rusher. The staff realized a need, went out and found a JUCo edge rusher that can play day one. Seems like he knows what he was brought in to do. Love it

Dude is a good interview

Agree. Well spoken and had some great answers.

Sounds like a kid whose going to come in and work hard.

Yeah, he sounds like a good dude. He's going to fit right in. Not so sure about his sunshine rating (since it was not asked about :( ), but by the looks of his tape, he's a pretty big bad ***. Looking forward to seeing him in a 'Canes uniform.

Need to stop pressing on making these guys say that they grew up in an NWA album. Otherwise, A++ material, good sirs.

Wants to sack Cam Newton? Yes sir I'm a fan! Loved his answers to my questions.

Manti Teo'brow

Seems like a cool guy. The MMA stuff is interesting, that kind of thing can really help his game. Pass rushers like Clay Matthews really like MMA because it improves explosiveness, hips, flexibility, and hand use.

I'm surprised its not something a lot of Miami kids are into considering there is some top notch training facilities and big time fighters that have trained in the area.

I think its a natural progression for some players, especially edge rushers, and guys in the trenches. Once you start understanding what MMA can do, for as you mentioned hand use and flexibility in the hips, but also the benefits of leverage and what it can mean in the phone booth of football, you realize it could be great off-season conditioning and improvement for players, plus its helps teach discipline. Just so many benefits.
