Canes Hoops will face Kentucky in Lexington next season as part of the SEC/ACC challenge, per a report by Jon Rothstein.

Last time Miami played the Wildcats was also at Rupp Arena in 2008, when the Canes defeated a Patrick Patterson and Jodie Meeks-led Wildcats 73-67. Jack McClinton and James Dews led Frank Haith's Miami that day.

The Canes also hosted Kentucky back in January 2000.

It’s about time UM gets recognized as one of the ACC’s bests and goes up against one of the best for SEC.

Never understood liking one team in football & a different one in basketball. Always been the strangest thing to me. Pick a school and root for them.

Trash. Don’t be shocked if a lot of our “fans” root for Kentucky in this game.
True, all my life there have been tons of bandwagon riders that pulled for Duke, UNC, Kansas, KY Jelly, whoever else in basketball…then showed up only when good things were happening in UM football..no shocker.

Why are you a Kentucky fan (honest question)
My dad is a UK basketball fan so I grew up watching them. Miami football I became a fan of on my own when I started following college football.
