Canes Top the Terps

The Miami Hurricanes (3-0 in acc) played the first home conference game of the year against Maryland. This is a game I really wanted to watch, but I ended up getting stuck at work. Luckily, I was able to keep up with the game thanks to all the fellas who kept us updated on the basketball forum. Thus, I'm going to defer this one to my boy consigliere who actually watched the whole game. Here is his thoughts....

A game is made up of offense and defense. On offense the stats simply summed it up 22-63, 5-20 and 5-13. The offense was terrible and we couldn't get into any rhythm.

The defense on the other hand saved us, as we held Maryland to 47 points. We constantly disrupted shots, prevented offensive rebounds and forced them to take terrible shots. The big men did the little things, rebounds, blocks and held their star Len to a pretty uneventful game.

Coach did his best to keep the players motivated and fresh, lot of substitutions, adjustments and yelling. He really got the crowd into it.

Miami is 3-0 for the first time in the ACC ever and all without Reggie. Rank us!
