I like Moore, I really do. He's a good talent. But when you look at the names this cycle - Wiggins, Pope, Hightower, Williams, Moore, Austin, etc... we're going to be missing out on some elite/really good receivers because we just can't take everyone.

In the immortal words of Run DMC -- First come, first serve basis. I don't think Moore should be getting the slow play though. STA players tend to produce, and the school has been great to us. If he wants in, let that boy eat.

It could be just a case of "numbers" and maybe that Richt prefers a balanced group of WR's. A mix of fast/small and big/tall group. Considering we took 2 fast/small in 2017, he may want to balance it this year.

Brian Hightower - Miami remains in solid position with him on June 20th.

Mark Pope - Pope is likely be a Miami Hurricane.

Dennis Briggs - It’s only a matter of time before he pulls the trigger and commits to Miami, in my opinion.

Lorenzo Lingard — He’s 100% a Miami Hurricane.

Warren Thompson
I’m continuing to hear that Miami is in great position to land a commitment from him
.

Just. yes.

A lot of these WR battles will be pushed out all the way til NSD...

I don't know. If Pope commits to us and Hightower comes June 20th; that could force some of these other guys to accept the fact that they might not be able to have the showcase recruitment that they wanted if they truly want to come to Miami. All of these guys are really good talents. And if one of these kids were a '17 kid, given the lack of talent last cycle, they could play the game. But when you're in a class this deep and talented, the economics of recruiting says that if you're a good talent but are trying to draw things out until NSD - a coaching staff can go ahead and get a player of equal talent in the same backyard as you 6 months earlier.

It's February, visits & in-homes haven't happened yet.

I'm not talking about Pope, Hightower we'll see... But we're supposedly taking 5WR's, there's at least 6-7 prospects that are all Miami as of now, but it's unrealistic to think that things aren't going to change in a few months.

That's recruiting, there's still an entire calendar year of Crootin left to be done. I'm very confident about this class & believe it will be a top 3 class, I'm simply saying at WR its going to be a long fight for the last 2-3 spots.

so we lead for just about everybody

either this eric kid is absolutely terrible at reading these kids or we back

Pope, Hightower, Thompson, and Moore? Sign me up. Looks like the kid from American Heritage, and Delray Beach are the odd man out.

Definitely keep tabs on the kid from American Heritage. His speed is second to none, and while you can teach route running, you can't teach pure blistering speed, but I do agree that it looks like he will probably be the odd man out. Shame.

The Schwartz isn't out of this class, they would take him in a split second. No matter the numbers, the school would make Richt take him if we were his first choice. You don't turn away potential Olympians due to the prestige they bring your school.

He'll go somewhere with a legit track program.

Brooklyndee do you still think Xavier is gonna decommit soon?

Hightower certainly doesn't pop off the screen with his speed but he is in and out of his cuts very smoothly and doesn't lose much speed in and out of his breaks. You don't need blazing speed to create separation if you are that efficient.

I am curious what his legit speed is, though. Does he run track?

He runs a 4.5 well get him down into the 4.4s that's just as fat if not faster than the majority of recievers out there.

We're only taking 4 recievers brother. Class is pretty much done.

Depends how soon we get his parents on campus. He's invited this weekend but don't know if he'll come. With him he's sold. It's all about his parents getting on board though.

Our wr class will be hightower, pope, thompson, and either williams or moore

Brooklyndee So we have Wiggins committed right now... You are saying we take 4 in this class at WR. I will count Pope as being in, so we have 2 spots left..who do you think they will be
