Cornelius was in on that long bubble screen to Lockett, took an awful angle and got beat to the sideline

Cornelius was in on that long bubble screen to Lockett, took an awful angle and got beat to the sideline
the angle wasn't awful. ideally McGhee stays to the outside of the WR and Lockett can't just run full speed to the sideline like that. And why do we have LBs covering slot WRs out in space in the first place? cause even if McGhee stays to the outside the QB had plenty of space. He could have just run since the OLB on that side is so wide trying to stay in front of the slot. Or Klein slows down and the WR McGhee is covering has an option to cut to the inside if the CB is playing hard to the outside. Just either way the offense is a step or 2 ahead cause how the defense is lined up and the personnel being used to defend a 3 WR set.
