Brown on earning your spot, Cam Davis emergence

Coach Brown does not pull punches speaks what’s on his mind. “We” underperformed this year. Last year’s Pitt game was last year, different team, different year, we need to win this one for the seniors.

Listen, everybody cant be the starter coming in plain and simple. Who cares how many things had to happen for cam to get an opportunity, the main thing is and more importantly he was ready when his number was called.

Would mcgahee have had the junior year he had if frank gore didnt get hurt, **** no, he would've had to wait til the next year. And prior to that year he was lining up at fullback alot.

The offensive guys have been soft mentally, coach brown knows exactly what he's talking about. Next year's o-line already understand what the standard is going to be, power running, so get with gus and get ready, we on our way.

And im sure they telling the commits and recruits now, we only looking for the mentally tuff, and those are the same type of guys that came to UM during the butch years, wasnt no winning going on, but they said in their minds we gone be winners, by the time they became juniors and seniors, they were winning and winning big, the building continues, either transfer or work, football is the ultimate team sport, one man doesnt make the whole team, jeff leaving opens up more playing time, we appreciate the plays he made but he made a mistake and quit on his brother's.

I'd rather have more travis homer's, deejay dallas, brevin jordan, the whole defense mindset, cause that's how you become champions.

They've been the main ones playing. Hard to say that's how you become champions when we're 6-5. Also, I don't see champions constantly on twitter coming up with hype quotes like "We're built to break dreams" and other BS. You appear to be the lone Richt supporter left. Brown talks a big game, but this is all BS from his end. Hard work does little with this staff. They feel more comfortable if you're experienced. We learned this early on when Knowles kept getting snaps over Hall. Don't know what Hall's work ethic is, but I haven't heard anything negative. Meanwhile, Knowles is a guy that's just limited athletically who just can't make plays - he is who he is. The biggest indictment of Brown's statements is the Rosier/Perry situation.

“Youth” is the excuse all ****** coaches use.

We’ve been hearing it for 15+ years.

When you can’t coach and develop talent you are always going to rely on incoming players, and sit here with the same tired *** excuses about “playing freshmen at key spots”

I like how they call us fans outside noise. We expect a better product on the field. Then he insults oir intelligence with only of you were a high level high school player would you understand what these kids go through. Why dont you coaches show us that you are doing everything you can to right the sinking ship instead of blaming players and fans. This is not miami football. We been waiting 15 yrs to see it comeback and we continue to wait impatiently and mad as **** when we see and hear crap.

We are MAD AS **** AND WE ARE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!!

The ones who can’t trust the process are soft and can gtfoh they will be replaced either way. The ones who stay down and grind are the ones that will help get Miami back to the top.

We must learn to read between the lines ... see translation below:
"This year has been horse-****. We just need 4-5 headcrackers on both sides of the ball. As coaches we must look far and wide for
headcrackers. You can not quit on the team, especially for guys that have put in 4-5 years of blood, sweat and toil. Going forward, no
more pussies on this team."
Furthermore we need 4-5 head crackers on staff. . . .

Cam “earned” his spot?!?!?!

Man if a domino effect of events didn’t take place we would never have seen him this year.
Cam was 4th on the depth chart
Lingard injured, now 3rd
Dallas fumbles, now 2nd
Homer nagging injuries, FINALLY PLAYS

Without ALL of those things happening we would have never seen Cam.

He’s trying to spin some false bull**** about hard work gets you on the field which is why the young guys are so **** mad. HARD WORK DOESN’T MEAN ANYTHING TO THEM, the only way they play the young guys is if they absolutely have to.
That is earning your spot. When your number is called are your ready to perform? Cam was ready and took advantage of his reps and now has earned major playing time.

Brown realizes his career is over after the Rev ships out. God he's worthless!

I hear you but at the same time they played Wiggins, Hightower all at the beginning of the season. The Lo stuff is a head scratcher and while I agree that Richt is hesitant to put a young guy in, they have showed that they’re willing to do it.

spare me on earning you spot. at least diaz plays the most talented. Cager earned his spot with weak routes, soft blocking, dropped passes, and
cement shoes? Mahoney earned his spot? these guys man smh

Remember Golden's "ignore the noise?" There is nothing new here. Coaching failure is coaching failure. It's as plain as day.
Na it isn't our fault, he never mentioned canesinsight in that quote
