Blue-chip OL Ben Congdon signs with Canes

Miami has signed one of the biggest senior risers in the 2026 class with offensive lineman Ben Congdon.

The 6-foot-7 Ohio product committed to Miami as a low three star in March, and has risen to one of the top-20 offensive tackles in the class — evaluations matter.

He uses his impressive frame to just bully defensive lineman off the line, using his hands and length well to create distance.

It’s also worth mentioning his wrestling background, able to generate tons of power from his lower half.

And with plenty of room to pack on more size with his frame, the sky is the limit for the fast rising Ohio native.

Somewhat underrated get that we should be talking more about. Love the wrestling background. Those kids are usually tough as nails.

Imo highest upside for any of the oline recruits that signed.

Might be my favorite OT we've signed after Francis. He could become as good if not better than Cantwell.

Where does this dude project on the OL? Saw him in person. He looks ready to contribute on day 1, though obviously not needed.
